6. The Pretentious Rich Second Generation

When the original owner was a child, his family was still quite poor. At that time, the whole family was reluctant to eat meat even once a week, with his Father being the sole breadwinner. In his memory, his Mother only played cards everywhere, chatting and gossiping with neighbors.

When he grew older, his Mother, who looked beautiful like a fairy, ran away with another man and abandoned him and his Father.

Once he started elementary school, one day after school, he actually saw his Mother at the school entrance. Because he kept looking at his Mother’s photo since he was a child, he recognized her at a glance, even though she was dressed in luxury and had beautiful make-up on.

Of course, as a child, seeing his mother, he would rush up to call her excitedly, but then he was pushed away by the driver. He was quite sure that his Mother recognized himself, and her eyes said so, but she chose to ignore the ‘wild child’ as the driver had said.

As the original owner sat on the ground crying, he saw his mother suddenly smiling happily at the school. A well-dressed boy was carrying a bag, and when he passed by, he gave him a disdainful look.

He just watched as his Mother acted caring and attentive to this strange child, and then brought the child into the luxury car and drove away, leaving him staring at the back of the car.

The shadow cast upon his heart by this incident was obviously huge. The original owner went home and told his Father that he had seen his Mother. Only then did he hear the truth from his Father as why his mother left.

It turned out that there was a rich man who had a thing for his Mother in the beginning, so she went with that man without a second thought.

It was because that person was rich that his Mother followed him. Women are such creatures, who hated the poor and loved the rich, all of them!

An obsession bloomed in his heart. Time flew by, and his Father lost his job and left for the port city to do business. As a result, he didn’t know if he was lucky, but in two years, he changed from a poor Father to a billionaire.

This money was probably not that much for the really rich, but it was a lot of wealth for the Father and son who have lived through hard times. The original owner’s father worked diligently to maintain a restaurant, and the original owner was aware of his position of merely being a ‘rich second generation’.

He was different from other rich second generations. The original owners didn’t like racing cars, and he didn’t like buying luxury goods, and didn’t like having fun with that group of people.

From his Mother’s influence on him when he was a child, in the mind of the original owner, ‘women are creatures who hate the poor and love the rich’, because they can leave you without money, and they can also come back to you because you have money.

He liked to pretend to be poor, then go after pretty girls and persist after being rejected by them. Then when the time was right, he wore splendid clothes and drove a limousine to act pretentious.

It may be that his eyes were really bad, and the ones he was interested in were actually gold-worshipping women, looking at those people with regret and shame, the original owner was proud and arrogant.

He was becoming more and more certain that all women ‘hate the poor and love the rich’, and those who looked down on him when he dressed poorly would be stuck up, and would look up when he dressed richly.

The twisted concept of love made his game more and more over the top, like a game of masquerade, piling on the money to create a different version of himself.
