She saw me talking, came in sobbing and screamed at me to stop. I was so in a daze with the pill in my stomach that I didn't dare to.
"Will you ever say it back?" I asked as she pulled at my arm with a cry.

"Mother stop, I'm talking to him," I said as I shrugged her off.

It seemed to enrage her as she started to scream, red faced horror galore.

He didn't reply but I stared into his eyes, I saw sadness I've never seen before. He looked at me with a pitying smile, those pitiful eyes and pity in his unspoken words. His lifeless eyes were full of grief as my mother dragged me away.

And just as I left, he whispered the words, ever so gently for my ears. "Kim Taehyung, that's my name, Koo. My name is Kim Taehyung."

And it was that day, I sobbed with my mother. Because I knew I'd never get to call him by his beautiful name.
