*A tale inspired by Nightmousie's dragon fanspecies on the School of Dragons Forum*
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a- oh, wait a minute... maybe a mouse?
I sprung from my bed to see what was that patter and out on my tree sat a candy-cane snacker! She'd taken the ornaments and all the popcorn; the presents lay scattered, chewed up and torn.
"What have you done?!?" I said to no use, for out went the tongue of that ornery goose.
I reached out to catch her,
cupped my hands fast,
but she slipped away just as quick as a flash
She flew 'round the room whirring faster and faster
Till my head started spinning which brought her some laughter
Then out through the flume the small dragon shot,
Snickering, "Merry Christmas to all, or, perhaps,
maybe not!"
