Chapter 2: Making new friends

Athena's POV:

I woke up feeling tired, ugh!!!! I hate mornings. As you see I am a night-owl person but I also love sleeping to I don't particularly enjoy waking early.

 I looked up the time, and it was 9 am, k perfect l thought. I got out of bed and did my business, had breakfast and changed into my outfit and looks. 

Perfect I thought looking in the mirror. 

I thought of getting straight to business on finding Niklaus, but then someone knocked on my door, I opened and saw Caroline, she was asking me to come to her house and meet some of her friends and i said yes because she was insisting so much. 

Damn, this is a stubborn little bitch I thought and now i am asking myself how is she so nice and she likes me already.  

I went inside her house after she invited me in, we went to the living room and saw the whole gang of minions there staring into my soul in amusement, looking at me as if they just saw a ghost. 

Damon was there too. I went up to them and said "Hi everyone I am Y/N Carter". They all said hi or hello back and introduced themselves. 

I turned to one particular person, i was shocked when she didn't look scared. 

she looked just like Katherine  but only her dressing sense were very different from her, then i understood that she was not Katherine but a dobblegranger, because Katherine would freak out but she had a plain smile on her face and Katherine would never wear bright coloured dresses and have her hair straight. 

I asked " um what is your name?" she said Elena Gilbert", then i turned to another girl i could feel she is a bennet witch. 

I said to her "You are bonnie bennet, am I right?" She replied with a confused face " Yes, how did you know?" 

I replied, " i knew your mother Abby and grandmother sheila, they were friends nothing important." 

I knew her because when she was born i went to bless her that day. "you knew my MOM and grandmother!", she said.

 I replied "Yeah.." I then gave her this necklace and told her " Keep this, your mom told me to give you this when you learn the truth about your self" 

"Oh thank you but may I ask why would she give it to you and how come I have never seen you?" she questions as she takes the necklace from me and eyes it suspiciously.

 "I don't have much time to answer these questions, you'll figure it out soon," I told her.

I turned to Stefan Salvatore, my old friend and the younger brother of Damon who I met earlier, although he told me he had a brother before I only just met him, I compelled him to forget because I had to go away. 

he looked exactly how I left him, except for the sense of style, he looks better this way. 

"Hi Stef, how have you been, missed me?" I said to him. 

He looked confused and asked, "Hi.. how do you know my name even though we haven't introduced ourselves?" 

I laughed and then said bye and sorry to everyone because I have work to do leaving them confused. 

"ok.... now that was weird, who is she and how does she know us?" Stefan asked.
