Once the service was over we got in to our cars and I gave Chubbs a treat just as he woke up from his nap and began to drive to the lake house.
We all parked out and I got compliments on my car.
"Wow" I mumbled to myself
I heard all of the dads cheering and laughing amongst themselves and I just smiled. I opened the back door to my car and picked up Chubbs so that he was in my arms and didn't decide to run off.

We got to the porch and Becky spoke "Daddy, what's that machine doing?"
"Uh oh" I bit my lip
Dad looked up to see the moth killer and replied "uh-uh, it's getting rid of the moths honey"
"Where's it taking them?" She asked oblivious
Higgins them appeared in front of us and spoke "Hell"
"Higgins don't say that" Dad scolded the blonde man "oh I'm sorry. Not Hell, Mexico"
"But Daddy they're dying!" Becky exclaimed
"It's killing them?" Charlotte and Donna cried
Dad then shook his head and ran up the steps in panic before unplugging the moth killing machine.
"No it's not killing them. See? Look at this guy" Dad showed as he threw a moth up in the air and it just dropped to the floor and I chuckled "see? It's still sleeping"
"It's dead dad" Greg rolled his eyes and I pinched his arm and he yelled in pain, so I glared at him.
Dianne's mom pushed past me and Keithie to get to the porch swing causing him to fall over but luckily Dylan caught me so I thanked him.
"Ooh a porch swing, I know what I'm doing this weekend" she stepped on the moth on the way, squishing it
"Now it's dead" I muttered
Robbie opened up the doors and said "welcome back to 78 everybody. The Lake house" we all crowded in and Donna pushed past everybody and ran to the piano and began to bang on the keys causing an awful racket.
"Honey don't play it like that" Sally stoped her daughter
"But I like playing it like this" and began to 'play' again
Dad then decided to ask "alright guys. So whose getting what room?" He asked
Robbie stepped forward and began to explain who was having what room "well I actually made a map of who gets what room. I took the liberty of reserving the room with the water bed for Gloria and myself" Gloria then smiled and rubbed his shoulders "Ooo you're gonna do the back stroke tonight" i gagged
Donna then immediately jumped up from the piano "I wanna go swimming with you guys"
"Oh honey we aren't really going swimming what I mean is-" she then got cut off pay the protests from the adults "oh it's ok she didn't need to know what you mean. I don't even know what you mean" Mrs Lamensoff cut in
