Miyuki wrung her fingers nervously as she and Yaoyorozu waited for Tokoyami's signal.
'He's pretty good at this.' Viola commented as they watched Tokoyami dart through the room, silent as he moved from and to the shadowed crevices.
The building they were in had a pretty open floorplan, in contrast to the weaving halls Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami recalled from their first exercise. Most likely to save on budget, or for Cementoss's sanity. Miyuki couldn't imagine having to deal with re-building everything over and over again.
Dark Shadow shot them a thumbs-up from Tokoyami's hiding spot, and the two girls nodded to each other before carefully making their way over to him. He waited until they were close enough before whispering.
"This isn't working." He informed them, standing up. "We're moving too slowly. We need to prepare to attack, or at least find a base to defend."
Yaoyorozu stood as well, Miyuki following her lead, sighing. "Most of the other teams are pretty well balanced. We need to find a weak lin-" Her eyes widened and she grabbed the two by the sleeve, pulling them down.
Yaoyorozu put a finger to her lips, pointing to the nearest window. They crept towards it, keeping low down, and Miyuki searched for the threat.
There was no one there, so she turned back to the girl, confused. Yaoyorozu shook her head and smiled, taking Miyuki's hand and directing it to point towards a pair of discarded boots.
'Hagakure!' Clementine said.
'They must've sent her to scout ahead.' Saffron mused.
Miyuki went to speak but bit her tongue, frustrated.
'We have no clue where she is. What if she's close enough to hear?'
Momo looked at her, worried. She held up some familiar signs, 'are you okay?'. Miyuki's eyes sparkled as she signed back an excited 'yes!', earning a smile.
Tokoyami tapped her shoulder. 'A few of us learned to sign for Kouda-kun's sake at the beginning of the year.' He told her.
'Hagakure didn't. Said it was too difficult and she couldn't even use it half the time.' Yaoyorozu gave a rare smile, one that Miyuki recognised from Clem, whenever she'd pulled off a particularly clever manoeuvre during training.
'So she won't be able to understand even if she spots us.' Miyuki surmised. She took a pause, brows knitted together as she stared at the ground in concentration.
'I... think I have a plan.' She signed after a moment. 'Yaoyorozu, can you make some glitter? Um, in a like- uh, think water-balloons? Something like that, easy to throw and break on impact.'
Understanding showed on her features as she produced a handful from her arm.
'Okay, so if I draw attention to myself to draw her out, then Tokoyami, with the help of Dark Shadow, will be able to mark her. That way we can capture, or, at the very least, remove her from play. Even if she gets most of it off, she'll still be noticeable.'
'What if you get captured?'
Miyuki grinned. 'Don't worry, I've got a few ideas.'

Miyuki slid down the fire escape, not waiting a second after touching the ground to start moving through the alleys. She faltered at the entrance to the main street, but quickly hardened her resolve, running out.
She made sure to keep herself in view of the building's windows, where Tokoyami and Yaoyorozu waited.
She slowed her breathing as she stopped, trying to keep away the paranoia. Her quirk glittered in the sunlight, completely invisible to anyone but those looking for it.
