Whenever your days look dark,
Your life down from its mark,
When there is neither spirit nor spark,
I will bring a light to you.
Whenever you’re hurt in tears,
When life feels to heavy for you to bear,
If your mind is full of worries,
I will be there to worry with you.
Whenever you’re sad and lonely,
Feeling like you have no one,
When you’re frustrated and totally angry,
I will be there to calm you down.
Whenever you just don’t know what to do,
When you feel the days are against you
If you feel no one is loving you,
I will be there to comfort you.
Whenever you’re lost in confusion,
If you feel like you’re going crazy,
When everything gets hazy,
I will guide you back to sanity,
Whenever you’re scared and frightened,
Nothing looks good or enlightened,
Your grip of fate has tightened,
I will be there to brighten your day.
When you’re feeling unloved and unwanted,
Kicked around so much you’re taunted,
When you feel like the shadow the sun has forgotten,
I’ll be there to endure it with you.
Whenever there’s something on your mind,
When your grief lies onwards and your joy behind,
If you think the world is cruel and unkind,
I will listen and comfort you.
Wherever you’ll go I will follow you
Wherever you’ll stay I will stay with you,
