It's not her fault

They say
I shouldn't be so
Careless with my heart
They don't know
I wouldn't trust
Anyone else with it
I wouldn't want
Anyone else to break it
They can't forbid me
To allow those feelings in
What's wrong with love
But its destructive power?
So no.
I won't look away.
For there will be a day
That I'll lose track of her beauty
So no.
I don't care what they say
For there will be a day
She will turn her back on me
Today is not that day
After all
What was my heart
Worth anyway?
