"They are not real siblings." I told Stacy while leaning on the kitchen counter.

"Is it? She was making an omelette for our breakfast.

"Ya and they met at some orphanage can you believe that?" I poured coffee for both of us.

"Ohh!" We took our breakfast on the couch in the living room. That was our Saturday morning routine.

"How they landed there is still a mystery. I am anxious to know all the details. It's so unreal, full of drama, just like a movie."

"And he helped everyone to settle in life."

"He still helps those who go and ask for it, and also handles this huge business. Trying again and again to venture into different fields"

"How he gets this energy and intellect, I am amazed." I kept blabbering while eating and Stacy was being a good listener like always, just nodding.

"No doubt you like him so much" she said.

"Who?" I like him? What made her think that. That thought itself is horrifying.

"Your Richie" she mentioned as if matter of fact.

"I am not talking about Richard. I am talking about Mr. Anderson. Viktor Anderson." I doubt if I even like Richard more than a friend.

"Oh! I thought…you were talking with such adoration. I thought you are talking about Richie…you called him Richard? Anyway, I am going to Jake's parent's place, we will be back by tomorrow evening." She took both our plates to the sink.

"What? I will be alone here? So boring" I pouted.

"You can join us if you want" Ya right!

"No, thank you, I will hang out with Snappy or Mike." I told her about to call anyone of them.

"Mike is taking Sara to Disneyland, so he won't be there" owww how I can forget?

"Ya I forgot, no probs. I will call Snappy." I went to my room while Stacy washed the dishes.

"Hey what's up? Let's go out somewhere." I spoke ever before he could say Hello. There was silence on the other side, making my brows to furrow.

"Umm… I am talking Aarti on a date to our beach house…so…let's plan something for next weekend?"

"Oh ok."

"You can join us if you want." Ya right!

"Don't lie Snappy, you don't want me anywhere near you both so chill and enjoy and let's plan something for next weekend." It was his first date with Aarti. I know he doesn't want anyone between them.

"Done, love you bye." He spoke hastily.

"Bye." I was hurt a bit to be left alone. Why I don't have someone in my life. Should I call Richard? NO. My conscious shouted.

"Traitors, all are Traitors. They left, leaving me alone. There is only one person I can turn to, Ben."

I reached his workshop and he was engrossed in his work. He was standing beside the furnace, adjusting the temperature.

"Hey Ben" I stood behind him. He turned towards me and gave a hearty smile.

"Oh my little girl, what are you doing here?" He spread his arms to take me in an embrace and I ran into those loving arms. His body was warm due to working near the furnace, his thick gloves had sooth on them, but that didn't concern me. I was wearing a black top.

"You remember your old man,, huh? He said pulling my cheeks" ouch that hurts.

'Come on, Ben, how can I forget you. You are my first love. Who said you are old." Ben was a very handsome man, or I can say a sexy grandpa. He is Mike's father, and he still works at their glass factory, making some outstanding glass pieces. He loves me like a daughter. I am the lucky one as I have not just one but three sets of parents.

"Same old Jia." He said, shaking his head.
"What brings you here early Saturday morning?" He asked me.

"Everyone ditched me, Ben, and they all went away with their lives of love." I scoffed.

"Find yourself a fine man, and you won't need anyone." He advised, continuing with his work.

"There are no fine man available nowadays" l sat on a small stool.

"There are still, and one of them will be here any moment. I will introduce you to him. He is such a gentleman and man of honor. Viktor. He said proudly as if he is his son." No…not the Viktor I know.

"WHO?" I was somehow scared to know the answer.

"Viktor, Viktor Anderson, owner of Anderson group." There it goes.

"How do you know him?" I asked.

"He used to work here, when he was around 16. He worked for a year and left when he got a job in the army. Such a hardworking fellow, he helped me a lot."

"He helped you?" Not again. This man is stalking my thoughts.

"During that time, I was in grief as Mary left me Miky was young, and I had to take care of him. I was unable to concentrate on factory, during that time he took charge of everything. He had no place to live, so he stayed here," Ben explained.

"See that beauty there, it is made by him." He showed me a beautiful aqua blue glass vase with waves pattern on it.

"Ben" someone called behind me. It's him, my boss. I can recognize that voice anywhere. I hear it everyday blasting instructions at me.

"Ah Viktor, we were just talking about you,
Come I will introduce you to someone." Ben went towards him. Both the men hugged. I didn't dare look at their direction, but ran from there without looking back.

I heard Ben call out my name but

The whole of Saturday and Sunday I remained home and watched movies, eating every junk available. I don't need anyone, I have my Netflix.

Late Sunday Evening, my mobile pinged with a new message. It was from Snappy in our group WhatsApp.

'Next Saturday, be ready for night camping in woods.' - Snappy.

There was a link below with all the details.

I scrolled through the details. Who the hell decided on this? They know I hate darkness. I sulked.

Ok, fine, I am scared of darkness!
