"Enjoy your days off, Theodore!" Daisy's voice was heard from around the corner once she crossed paths with Theo and me as we walked out of the station and she walked in.
"You have a great shift, Zee." Theo smiled at her while he kept walking next to me. I glanced at Daisy for a second, catching how she blushed and smiled as she looked at Theodore.
"Oh, you too, Agatha." She added quietly, avoiding any eye contact with me.
The weeks have passed since I found out she is the Commissioner's daughter. We have talked here and there, but I wasn't too sure if I could trust her again like I used to before. I know she was doing what her father asked her to do, but it still hurt after letting her in my life.

Theo stopped walking and took a quick look over his shoulder in the direction Daisy went. "Huh?"
"Daisy likes you, Theo. It can't be more obvious."
He looked towards the station again before he laughed. "Yeah, sure."
"You are such a guy," I rolled my eyes at him. "She turns into a walking tomato every time you even look at her. Haven't you noticed how she gets all giggly when you talk to her? It's quite adorable and sickening. It makes me feel like I'm in middle school again."
He shrugged. "She's like that with every guy."
Was this guy for real?
"You, my friend, are hopeless and blind." I shook my head at him.
"Yeah, hopelessly in love with someone that won't give me the time of day." He mumbled under his breath, but I managed to catch his words.
"What?"
Theo waved his hand dismissively as if that would make me forget about what he just said. "Nothing,"
