Tanjiro's POV
It has been fifteen days. My sword was to arrive today. I was cooking lunch for myself when there was a knock on the door. I walk to the door and opened it.
"I am Hotaru Haganezuka. I am the swordsmith the forged Kamado Tanjiro's sword."
"I am Kamado Tanjiro!" I told him, but he seemed to ignore me.
"This sword was made out of sun ore. A rare ore indeed. It was specially made for a child of brightness." (A child of brightness? '-'?)
"You Are a child of brightness right." He said showing his face to me. Well not face but mask.
"I don't know?" I was confused.(What is a child of brightness?)
"you have got to be! You have red Hair and red eyes you must be! Only children that are gifted from the sun have those! That means there is a chance that the sword will turn red." He stated.
"Now Unsheathe the sword!" That came out forceful. I took hold of the sword and began to take it out. Once it was fully out It took a second but it started to change color. It turned a crimson red color.
"I KNEW IT!" He suddenly yelled.
"I finally got to see a red sword." He cheered? He then hugged me and started thanking me. I just sat there really confused. It was loud until my crow came in through the window.
"Caw Caw Tanjiro Head Northwest! Northwest Caw! Girls have been disappearing Caw!" He Started Saying.(My crow can Talk!?)
A Long Walk Later.
I made sure I packed what I needed before I left home. Right now I was walking around. I had already Got the demon's scent, I just had to wait for it to be night.
Night time with Tanjiro having found the demon
I was chasing it. It was headed for a boy and a girl that were walking. It Showed itself I quickly cut his head off and ran to the other part on him. I found out that he had split himself into three. I needed to get to the other two parts.
It seems that they were coming to go for the girl again. I stood by the girl and boy. They saw me kill the first one. They seem to be frozen in place. The second part came out and I decapitated it. I knew the third one was behind me.
In a flash I was behind the demon. My sword was at its neck.
"tell me why you want this girl." I said. My head was down leaving a shadow to cover my eyes. It has started to tremble.
"She has come of age! If I don't eat her now she will not be as fresh later!" The demon said.
"One more thing. Why does Muzan want me to join his side?" I asked. By now the demon was shaking in fear. Just the mention of HIS name made it worse.
Flashback
the same demon was being held by his neck. His feat hanging but he was off the floor. THAT man had came to give him a warning.
"There is one more thing you should know. If you ever see a boy with hanafuda like earrings, a black and green checkered haori and red and black hair. Don't and I mean DON"T hurt him. You don't need to know why just don't do it. You will also listen to him." HE had said.
flashback end
Third person's POV(didn't expect this did you)
(Is this the boy the master was talking about?) thought the demon.
"I don't know! I don't have access to that information!" Yelled out the demon.
"I see." Was all Tanjiro responded. He let the demon go.
"leave. And DON'T come back" Tanjiro said. his eyes were still not visible to the demon but said demon ran.
Tanjiro POV Again
I turned to the people I was protecting.
"I am sorry for interrupting your date I hope you guys a great night and stay safe." I smiled at them. They thanked me and told me their names. Kazumi was the boy and Satoko was the girl. They were fiancees. They all bid each other their farewells and went away.
Tanjiro just turned around only to be met with the pink eyes of his little sister.
"Nezuko..." Tanjiro started. He hadn't seen her since they departed the day after their families massacre.
"Caw Nezuko AnD Tanjiro HEad SoUTh! Southeast! Southeast Caw!" My Crow cawed out. Me and Nezuko look at each other once more before we start heading off.
