Jennie blushed a little. What he had said was right. The intense work out from yesterday night had indeed caused her to feel sore all mover her body.

However, she could never tell Ah Fu that her entire body was sore, and then to ask her to give her a massage!

Even though Ah Fu was young, that did not mean
that she was dumb.

She did not listen to Lisa's suggestion nor look at him, instead merely saying goodbye with her head down. "You can go and accompany Grandmother now. I'll take a stroll in the garden as I've eaten too much just now."

It was already spring, the season of awakening for all creation, so the garden around her truly gave off a sense of beginning. Some of the unidentified plants in the little garden were already starting to reveal their sprouts. Jennie enjoyed the outdoors, she did not want to be stuck in the house.

When Lisa saw that she was still blushing, he chuckled to himself. They had done it numerous times, but every time this matter was brought up, she would still be shy. This woman was really seductive!

He reminded her in that deep voice of his, "Don't stay out too long, and be wary of catching a cold."

Jennie nodded and skipped along the path in the garden.

The buildings of the Manoban Family Mansion adopted Huizhou-style architecture. The garden also retained the characteristics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Coupled with Lisa's love and particularness over garden art, and a few locations in the homestead made for mwonderful sceneries.

Jennie arbitrarily roamed about in the garden. On one hand, she wanted some fresh air to cool down and think about how best to ask Lisa to allow her to accompany her mother on Lunar New Year's Eve tomorrow; on the other hand, she wanted to avoid the scene of the Manoban Family reunion. Not everyone could enjoy such a life!

Even if she left the Manoban Family and reunited with Shin-Hye and Hanbin, her family would still never be complete.

Hanbin had told her that he had assembled some forces and was merely waiting for the right time to topple the Manoban Family. However, he did not reveal the specific plan to Jennie. Jennie was worried about that indefinite future.

After a while, she started to feel tired from walking. As the afternoon sun was shining brightly, she sat down and rested underneath the shade of a tree.

"Nancy... I'm not full yet..." Suddenly, Yanni's voice traveled over from around the bend. "Where are you taking me?"

The miserable woman's voice was very weak, and there was a pleading tone to it. "Let me have my fill..."

"Eat, eat, eat. All you know is eat!" Nancy chastised, "You've embarrassed me in front of everyone! "Do you think I'd actually bring you here if not for Old Mistress' kindness?"

Jennie heard their footsteps getting closer. To hide herself from them, she quickly hid in the empty space between the dense trees.

Nancy tugged at Yanni's sleeves as they walked by from the direction of the Upper Mansion. Because her stomach was not filled, the insane woman was a little emotional. However, it also looked like she was afraid of Nancy and was thus being unwillingly dragged along by her daughter. Her face was full of grievance.

"Nancy... Do I still have to go back to that place? I beg you, don't send me back to that place... please? That place is filled with people with mental disorders..."

"You don't want to go back? Then can you remain at the Manoban Family?"

A trace of disgust flashed through Nancy's pretty eyes. "You are already mentally ill. Why are you afraid of others?"

Yanni hurriedly replied, "Nancy, I'm not..."

"You're not what?" Nancy's words were harsh, and she had a stern expression. Even Jennie was surprised. It was fine that this woman was insolent and rude toward her every day, but was this insane woman not her mother?

"Huh, you better behave well. After I've settled everything, I'll get you out of there. If you're disobedient and ruin my plans, don't even think about leaving that place!" Nancy threatened.

Yanni was clearly terrified. She pulled Nancy's sleeves and said tearfully, "I'm not mentally ill. You're the one who asked me to fake it to help you...."
