Chapter 11: Set in motion

I stand outside the room, staring at the door nob as if it will open on its own. I finally place my hand onto the nob and twist the handle as the door opens, I force myself to smile as I walk into the room. Immediately I am met with flashes of light from cameras and people almost instantly surrounding me and asking questions.

"What was it like in that devil infested warzone" I hear a voice say

"Are you allied with the devils on Paradis" another voice calls.

I raise my hand signaling for a guard and within seconds he arrives, he pushes past the crowd and finds me a seat next to Willy Tybur.
"Aaa My nephew has arrived, I must say it is good to see you" he gives me a hug and I awkwardly do the same slightly uncomfortable. 
"It's only been like a week but good to know I was missed" I say chuckling to myself. He gestures for me to sit back down  and we wait for the crowd of people to calm a bit. After a moment they quiet down but still look anxious waiting for a statement.
"I know you hate politics but as of now the people are still not completely sure whether you can be trusted or not, they need reassurance that you work for Marley" he says to me making sure to keep his voice just low enough so no one other than me hears him. I sigh but nod in agreement as I get up and walk over towards the podium. I awkwardly stand there awaiting questions and soon the cameras flash and the questions return, most of which concern Paradis with others regarding the war with he allied forces.
"I am not affiliated with Paradis anymore, while I lived amongst them once I am more than happy that I am among my people now" I state as calmly as I can.
"WE ARENT YOUR PEOPLE YOU FILTHY DEVIL" A man shouts as a bottle if flung towards my face breaking and cutting my forehead, I curse under my breathe as steam immediately eminates from where the cut was and I try my best not to transform, I look to where I saw the bottle come from as I see one of my guards apprehended the man. People rush out of the way as the man is brought before my feet. I signal to the guard to let him go and as he does albeit reluctant, the man stands to his feet fear visible in his face. I place my hand on his shoulder as softly as I can, I reach into my pocket for something, grab it then shove it into his neck. My knife sticks out of the man's throat as he gags for air, while also grabbing the knife, however I just hold a firm grip on the weapon sticking it deeper into his neck. His eyes are bloodshot red, the desperation for survival is very apparent as his body eventually  falls limp and I release the knife and his body drops to the floor. Everyone looks at me in shock, remnants of blood stain my hand as I replace my stoic face with that of a slight frown.
"This man was an Eldian spy, he just infiltrated your pathetic security and waltz right in here, I'm not entirely sure what his goal was  but I'm sure that it was gathering information. If I was truly loyal to Eldia I wouldn't have revealed this man, now I have ideas that could substantially help this nation grow and improve more then ever,  however I need your support to do it, the fact remains that while I hold lots of power both financial and physical, I can't make change without you." The crowd of people stare at me await for me to continue.
"The allied forces may have us outnumbered and out gunned however what we have that they don't are our titans and as long as we are form well thought out planning WE CAN UNITE AND PUSH BACK THE ALLIED FORCES" for a moment the crowd just stares at me as if I have have axe in my head, however soon someone claps followed by another clap. Then the room erupts in cheers and applause, I smile and wave before returning to my seat with a smile across my face...
