TWO BOYS WERE SEEN in a large fancy room. The golden haired one was laying in bed, a lyre in his hand and the dark haired one was sitting cross legged in the floor, brush in hand writing in a long scroll.

"La de de da da di dou, la mi mi la ma mi you." Athanasios sang and played his lyre. "There's only me and you."

Heroides looked up from his writing, smudges of ink in his cheek and hands." Alright, what do you want?"

Athanasios perked up from his bed, laying on his stomach to stare at the deadpan look on his companion." I'm bored."

"So, I have gathered."

"So, entertain me!"

Heroides raised and eyebrow." I am a mage not a court jester."

Ron laughed out loud." Still a sarcastic little thing, werent you, Harry?"

Harry shrugged eyes still never leaving the apparation of the two boys." Yeah it would seem so."

"Oh,Harry." Hermione sighed." Only you, would talk to a prince like that."

"Oh, come on, leave those squiggles behind and sing with me." Athanasios whined.

Heroides right eye twitched dangerously." Its runes. Not squiggles. They are a highly versatile form of magic that can be used in defence, offence and healing-"

"Blah, blah, blah." Athanasios interrupted him." Wont you sing me a song instead, Heroides Ariti, my most beloved companion?"

"You are a menace." Heroides sighed and set aside his rune work on a large table." If I sing to you a song will you let me continue my work?"

"Of course!" Athanasios nodded, not looking at all sincere.

"Fine.Fine. This one is a lullaby called song of the sea. It was one of my favorites growing up."

Heroides cleared his throat and sang in a clear voice.

"Hush now, mo stóirín
Close your eyes and sleep
Waltzing the waves
Diving in the deep

Stars are shining bright
The wind is on the rise
Whispering words
Of long lost lullabies

Oh won't you come with me
Where the moon is made of gold
And in the morning sun
We'll be sailing

Oh won't you come with me
Where the ocean meets the sky
And as the clouds roll by
We'll sing the song of the sea

I had a dream last night
And heard the sweetest sound
I saw a great white light
And dancers in the round

Castles in the sand
Cradles in the trees
Don't cry, I'll see you by and by

Oh won't you come with me
Where the moon is made of gold
And in the morning sun
We'll be sailing

Oh won't you come with me
Where the ocean meets the sky
And as the clouds roll by
We'll sing the song of the sea

Rolling
Rolling
Rolling
Rolling

Oh won't you come with me
Where the moon is made of gold
And in the morning sun
We'll be sailing free

Oh won't you come with me
Where the ocean meets the sky
And as the clouds roll by
We'll sing the song of the sea

Grá go deo"

"Woah. Didnt know you could sing so well, Harry." Seamus Finnegan gaped.

"My past self did." Harry reminded them. "Not me."

"Semantics." Dean Thomas waved him off.

"You should sing some more,Harry." Lavander Brown says with shining eyes.

Harry turned red at all the attention and mumbled."I'll think about it."

Athanasios gaped once he was finished singing." That was beautiful! Why didnt you tell me that you could sing so well?"

"You didnt ask." Heroides answered dryly." Now may I please get back to my work?"

"Nope!" Athanasios grabbed his arms and led him to the center of the room that had bigger space."Sing something and dance with me!"

"You said I could go back to my work once I had sing you something."

Athanasios answered cheekily,"Ah, but I never specified the amount of songs you could sing before ypu could get back to your work."

Ron laughed looking at the scene."Dude, you look so done with the world."

"Mood." Dean Thomas laughed too.

Harry just rolled his eyes.

"Fine then." Heroides looked long suffering but still stared at Athanasios with fondness.

"How does a moment last forever?
How can a story never die?
It is love we must hold onto
Never easy, but we try
Sometimes our happiness is captured
Somehow, our time and place stand still
Love lives on inside our hearts and always will

Minutes turn to hours, days to years then gone
But when all else has been forgotten
Still our song lives on

Maybe some moments weren't so perfect
Maybe some memories not so sweet
But we have to know some bad times
Or our lives are incomplete
Then when the shadows overtake us
Just when we feel all hope is gone
We'll hear our song and know once more
Our love lives on

How does a moment last forever?
How does our happiness endure?
Through the darkest of our troubles
Love is beauty, love is pure
Love pays no mind to desolation
It flows like a river through the soul
Protects, proceeds, and perseveres
And makes us whole

Minutes turn to hours, days to years then gone
But when all else has been forgotten
Still our song lives on
How does a moment last forever
When our song lives on."

They slowed dance and twirled around in no orderly fashion and laughing loudly, foreheads pressed together when they fall in the carpet floor.

"Perhaps, I shall make you the court singer, instead of my companion." Athanasios laughed, breathless.

"Heavens, forbid."

Two boys stared at each other with undeniable fondness in their eyes. This would be one of their fondest memories to come when war breaks out and everything seems lost.
