it pointed it at an unmanned EVA and the weapon let out a beam of light leaving a hole in the EVA that immediately collapsed to the ground once they were all dead did it spread it's white wings they watched as the giant cross formed but to their surprise a girl fell from that light
"lilith is dead" gendo said it was clear what occured unit-01 had used lilith to bring back rei and make her truly human
unit-01 caught rei and slowly lowered it into unit-02's hand before it yet again spread it's wings and took flight
