"if your referring to him he's anything but an outsider" misato snorted
"hello father it has been some years" i said causing the mans eyes to widen
"shinji" he said i nodded
"my name is not shinji ikari anymore but jaune bauduin now enough chitchat, maya report" i ordered although surprised that the meek third child was giving orders she dutifully followed them
"the angel doesn't seem to care for NERV at all and is focused entirely on tokyo three" maya reported
"Do we have a visual" gendo asked
"affirmative" she said as she put it on screen as i saw it my eyes widened and i stepped back
"that's no angel" i said in fear as i ran out of central dogma i didn't bring a kabizashi with me
"alektra said this was dealt with and we didn't have to worry about these things yet here one is invading my home" i ranted as i ran i pulled out my osiris key
"do you have a visual on the gauna" i asked
"we do sir but we are ill equipped to deal with it, we don't have CPP rounds nor do we have a kabizashi" kodai responded
"launch bahamut to my location, tell command to get me a damn spear yesterday" i said
"are you sure it's wise, sir" kodai asked
"just do it" i ordered
"aye sir" he said as comms were cut and i continued running as i drew my livlaster i soon felt a shake indicating bahamut's arrival and i ran out to meet it as it stood kneeled in all of it's glory

"it's time to wake up again old friend, we have a foe to face" i said as the unit extended it hand towards me it's green eyes glowing brightly as i jumped onto it's hand
"SHINJI" asuka called as i turned to her and smiled
"leave the gauna to me, i'll stall out until a weapon that can kill it arrives" i said as bahamut stood to it's feet and i jumped into the cockpit closed behind me i quickly got into the chair at the back of the cockpit and looked at the front console
"i should have brought ichi with me" i said before cursing as i inserted the livlaster and pulled the trigger fully activating the unit and conjuring it's spear of longinus before rushing to the city with my thrusters and striking at the gauna getting it's attention as it looked at me before attacking as i began to dodge and weave through it's attacks
as i led it out of the city i smiled at how fluently bahamut moved even without it's second pilot it was almost like second nature but then again with it's history
"you still help to this day don't you old friend" i asked as i saw a spear get thrown towards it a spear i recognized and grabbed i turned to see one of sidonia's gardes i believe it was known as tsugumori
"thanks" i told him as i returned my attention to the gauna
"alright now i have a means to kill you no reason to hold back any longer, manifest violent dragon that feasts on gods flesh, and blood pierce the cloudy heavens, bahamut" i chanted as bahamut began to transform but instead of the armor ripping apart and falling off it morphed around the transformation as the dragon let out a loud roar it's grip on the spear tightening significantly as it charged forth using it's original lance to cut through it's defenses before finally piercing the gauna's core with the kabizashi
killing it as i sat back in my chair and breathed a sigh in relief i controlled bahamut to walked passed the tsugumori dumping the kabizashi in the process and walking towards NERV who were very actively ready to welcome me back as i exited the unit i was met by my father
"you have transformed the EVA" he said i nodded
"yes i did i made it mine" i said
"it is impressive but we must speak of that threat, should we expect more of these beings" he asked
"their called gauna, and are even harder to kill then angels, and as to your question i have no idea, i need to speak with a subordinate of mine, and i'll get back to you, this was already supposed to be dealt with and i am quite pissed off, i'll let you hold onto bahamut for me" i said as i left the hanger as i was leaving NERV i realized i had two people following me i smiled as me misato and asuka boarded my shuttle to the yamato
the two girls were in awe when they saw the ship
"space battleship yamato, one of many ships within my fleet, though it can do nothing against a gauna against most other threats it would wipe them out easily" i said proudly
as we boarded the yamato and i brought them to the bridge
"take us home captain, i need to have a meeting with kobayashi" i said the man nodded and gave the appropriate orders
"kodai when we arrive i want these two girls to see everything our nation has to offer including our military capabilities understood they are to be treated as the most highly honored guests" i said
"understood sir, i'll make sure it is done" kodai said i nodded
"i'm sorry to say the meeting is confidential and secret so i can't bring you two along that being said enjoy your tour you shall see the fruits of my and many others labors in building our grand nation, and after i finish we can all head to my estate" i said the two girls nodded as words processed
"wait, ESTATE" misato and asuka shouted in unison
"of course i am the leader of the entire nation after all" i said as i left the gobsmacked girls to deal with the threat that should have been dealt with
