I saw her coming back, skipping steps through the footpath. As always, earphones on and almost dancing on the street. The most careless woman I had ever seen.
She didn't even notice me, leaning to the wall till I called for her.
"Huh?" She asked.
"Here. The cholesterol reports and the ECG ones too," I said and she pulled down her head sets to hang around her neck. She took the reports and glanced at it rather professionally.
She smiled, "Here HDL and LDL are at normal level, no cholesterol then. The ECG reports are also good, it's only acid reflux then. Gimme your phone," she asked.
"What? Why? No!" I protested.
"Just do what I say. I can just record what all precautions you have to take or your snitch ass may forget."
"Oh," I pulled out the phone from my trousers' pocket and handed it to her. She opened the recorder and recorded certain instructions like eat in small quantities, low on beverages and a lot of stuff. Quite informative.
"Here," she gave it back to me and walked ahead, once turning back, "Nice wallpaper though," she winked.
Wallpaper? She means that default samsung wallpaper?
I opened my phone and almost gasped in shock at the low-quality picture of me, standing over a bed terrified of a lizard back when we were ten or twelve.
When did she did it? Why does she have it still? I thought I threw the memory card. Means she has more. No no no. This cannot be happening to me.
I glanced at it again and a small smile twitched my lips, remembering the times. We were just kids after all. My phone beeped again.
