Yelena is a vampire who doesn't turn people into vampires. She drinks/eats blood in many different ways. Like making a blood syrup for things like pancakes and crepes or making drinks like coffee and tea with blood honey as a few examples. But she does bite people still sometimes she uses chloroform to knock them out then she uses syringes to collect the blood to eat/drink later.
Fyodor is also a vampire and does the same thing.
