Remus:
Hey, don't know if you got the message but there's a parents evening a week today at 17.15, able to make it?

Sirius:
Yes I'll be able to make it! Thanks for the message!

Ah the parents meeting, Sirius is excited about this (not). Oh well at least he'll see Elia a few days before he gets her for the weekend.

Pulling into the school he can see Remus and Elia not far from him walking up to the school. He climbs out of his car and starts walking up.

"Elia!" Sirius shouts, Elia turns around and looks up to Remus who lets her run over to Sirius.

"Papa!"

Sirius hugs Elia lifting her up as he continues to walk up to the school towards Remus. Once he meets Remus he puts Elia down and gives Remus a friendly nod and smile.

Elia grabs both Sirius' hand and Remus' hand. Before they could even think twice Remus and Sirius started to swing their arms as Elia lifted her legs up making her 'fly'.

This was something they did when Elia was a lot smaller, and they were still happy. So it felt weird to do it again.

Sirius dared to look at Remus but he was already looking at him smiling.

Remus knocks onto the classroom door and a nice lady opens it, probably around their age.

"Hi! You're Remus and Sirius with Elia right?"

They both nod and are welcomed in, the teacher sits down on her desk and there are two normal chairs and a smaller for Elia. But she ends up sitting near the back of the classroom playing with chalk the teacher set out.

"Elia has been doing very well at school, everything is great, only thing she struggles with is spelling, but that's an easy fix"

Remus and Sirius nod taking in the information. "So everything with school is great, how are things at home with Elia?"

Sirius and Remus look at eachother and Sirius nods saying Remus can start. "Yeah things are good with me, doesn't get up to much mischief."

The teacher nods and writes down a quick note, "And you Sirius?"

Sirius nods and clears his throat. "Yeah same really, things are good she has friends round sometimes, she's a happy kid"

The teacher smiles and nods. "We have a few more questions, but you don't have to answer if it feels too personal. We just have to ask to make sure Elia is you know safe and has a good childhood."

They both nod and Remus sees Sirius shift in his seat a bit. "So is there any alcohol, pills or stuff like that laying around the house?"

Remus shakes his head. "I have alcohol but just wine for when friends are round"

Sirius nods agreeing, "Same with me, I have a few pills but not laying around the house for Elia to see"
