Scarlett pov
I stir awake feeling my phone vibrate.. i put an alarm on to wake up early and prepare something for y/n.
As i glare back at her she's just peacefully sleeping cuddling koko making me smile to myself and.. i may have taken a few photos
I stood up already and just stretched my arms before going downstairs..i took every ingredient out and wanted to bake some muffins.
It took kind of a lot of time because i needed to look for vegan alternatives but i still want it to taste like my muffins
Y/n suddenly also showed up holding koko still yawning "oh you're already awake, good morning" i smiled at her while she prepared koko's breakfast
"mornin---hmm.. what's that smell?"she goes closer to me looking at the oven making me smile proudly
"I'm making muffins" i pouted trying to stop my smile
"You know how to bake?" She asks petting koko
"I'm gay, i can do anything" i mimic her actually earning her laugh
" Oooooh can you make brownies next time? Please?"
" Sure " i chuckled
My phone then notified and it was my surprise person for y/n... She's already at the airport and I'm gonna pick her up later..
The muffins were ready and i quickly put them aside to let them rest as y/n tried getting one already "heyy let them set first" i giggled as she actually looked like she wanted to taste them so bad right away
I made her some iced coffee since i never really saw her drink it when it's hot "wow, how'd you know i like my coffee cold?" She huffed taking a sip
"Observation" i playfully winked before going on my phone again texting that person
"Who are you texting? And why are you smiling? I haven't even said yes and you're already cheating on me? The audacity" she sarcastically complains making me laugh
I sat beside her giving her one of the muffins "I'm talking to someone that wants to see you so bad..its a surprise on who is it" i huffed watching her took a bite closing her eyes
Nailed it.
" Who are you? Who am i? " She playfully says
" It's that good?" I chuckled
We were then interrupted by the doorbell.. we went outside seeing a package.. she immediately open it and they were brownies
"UHHH I LOVE THIS MORNING" She groaned going inside again putting them at the kitchen counter taking a bite
" You never learned huh? " I scoffed removing the brownies from her hand
" What are you doing?? Give me thatt" she complained
" Didn't you almost die because you kept on eating random foods given to you by mail?? "
"brownies are to die for" she shrugged just grabbing another piece
As i looked back.. there's actually a note..." From Scarlet.. i hope you loved the brownies.. don't worry i made sure they're vegan... hope we can hang out again" i read it out loud
"Who's Scarlet? Did I send these to you??" I confusedly asked
" Oh.. she's a friend, we met when i first landed here"
" Not you replacing me with someone that has the same name as me"i playfully sighs actually tasting the brownies...
They're incredible... My confidence in my muffins just dropped as deep as nat did in vormir
