Mission 16
"It's just a joke."

A/n: Quick note, mostly the chapters will be 3rd POV so I don't need to include it.

It was an cloudy day at Itan Private High School.
You walk in the classroom to see that nobody was there except Komi, so you decided to sit down at your desk.

Y/n: "Good Morning Komi-san, i can see you came earlier today...-"

Komi was looking at you shivering.

Y/n: "Already...! Uhm, what's wrong..?"

There was still a bit of an awkward tension between you and her since yesterday events at Komi's house so you were a bit more nervous around her than usual.
Komi shows you a letter.
You look at her, then the letter.

Y/n: "W-What could she be so nervous to tell me?"

You pick up the letter, opens it and saw what was in it.

Letter: The Bedbug bugged the bed.

Y/n: !?

You start shivering along with Komi.

Y/n: "Uhm... What are you t-trying to say..?"

Komi was surprised by that and shows her notebook. You read what was written on it.

Y/n: *reading* "Yesterday, on Tv they said humor is important for communication, so I wrote down a joke i heard recently."
Y/n: "Recently?"

Y/n: "Oh, jokes like that work better on the right situation."

Komi then had an idea an writes some jokes down.

Komi: "𝙸 𝚊𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚜𝚝 𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚙𝚙𝚎𝚍 𝚒𝚗 𝚊 𝚙𝚘𝚘𝚍𝚕𝚎."

Y/n: "It's raining cats and dogs..."

Y/n: "H-Hey I didn't mean it wasn't funny! But with jokes, it works better when you say them out loud." You said standing up and nervously waving your hands

Komi stared at you, walks up to the door, stick her head in it and leaves...
