𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 ! British YouTuber and singer Lyra Kennedy, rose to fame after the release of her debut single "Melting" in 2014 which is said to be about her close friend Talia Mar. Followed by other hit singles like "Delicate", "Sue Me", "Doin' Time", "Enchanted" and others. Although, despite having many hits, she has yet to release an album. Lyra started her own YouTube channel in 2012 usually posting covers or short unreleased songs, before posting vlogs, gameplay videos and other things for her more than 12 million subscribers. She also seems to have quite the following on Instagram, posting frequently about her life to her 30 million followers.
𝐁𝐄𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐄 ! Lyra started singing covers from the age of ten, filmed by her father Andrew Kennedy. In one of her Instagram lives, she revealed that her favourite cover of hers from when she was younger was "Picture To Burn" By Taylor Swift, as the young artist still holds as much idolisation as she did from her younger self. At seventeen, she moved to London where she attended a Performing-Arts school for a year.

Her fans call themselves "Kens", which initially started as an ongoing joke when Lyra retweeted someone coming up with the idea and people eventually decided it was a perfect fit, since she loved Barbie as a child.
