Rimuru sighed as Veldanava's scolding echoed in his mind. "Let's create some worlds… *sob* that bastard scolded me just because I was a bit late," Rimuru muttered to himself, looking glum.
<Master, why do you create worlds every time you're bored?> Ciel inquired, her voice tinged with mild concern.
"*Sob* Veldanava scolded me..." Rimuru responded, sniffling dramatically.
<That’s not a real reason.> Ciel's voice carried a hint of annoyance.
"Don't be like that, Ciel! My imaginary space has no end, so I thought… why not make a few worlds to pass the time?" Rimuru reasoned, wiping away non-existent tears.
<If you're that bored, why don't you create a metaphysical hierarchy system infinitely layered within your imaginary space?> Ciel said, clearly irritated but slyly enabling his boredom.
"That's… a good idea!" Rimuru's face lit up with enthusiasm.
And so, Rimuru dove headfirst into creation, manifesting layers of reality so complex that even the gods within those worlds were clueless about their own nature. The infinite Beyond Omniverse took form, containing countless Greater Beyond Omniverses, each with their own unique gods, realms, and timelines. Every layer transcended the one below it, with the beings at the top looking down, seeing those beneath them as mere stories or trivial amusements.
In these worlds, the rules of existence varied wildly. Some dimensions resembled RPGs, others operated on bizarre, otherworldly physics, and many held gods who thought they were omniscient until the layers above proved them wrong. Each "all-powerful" god, unknowingly, was part of a bigger story, nothing more than fiction to those in the higher dimensions.
As Rimuru expanded his creation, entire universes filled with different timelines, alternate realities, and infinite possibilities blossomed. Gods crafted their own realms, unaware that even they were mere toys in the hands of Rimuru, the bored Chaos Creator.
<Why do you keep doing this every second?> Ciel sighed.
"*Sob* Veldanava scolded me..." Rimuru repeated his excuse.
<... That still doesn’t explain anything.>
"Well, my imaginary space can never reach a true endpoint, so I figured… why not have some fun?"
<Then why not create a metaphysical world, too? With its own layered hierarchy, infinitely more complex? If you're so bored, at least go big.> Ciel suggested, a hint of sarcasm creeping into her voice.
"That's a great idea, Ciel!" Rimuru exclaimed, already setting to work on the next grand project.
Rimuru layered the metaphysical worlds like a cake, each higher dimension viewing those below as insignificant. At the top, gods of creation looked down on the countless worlds they had spun into existence. To them, the lower layers of existence filled with parallel worlds, realities, and timelines were mere fleeting dreams, devoid of real meaning.
"How was that, huh? Am I amazing or what?" Rimuru asked, grinning with smug satisfaction.
<Are you trying to make me obsolete?> Ciel's voice dripped with sarcasm.
"Don’t be ridiculous. Without you, I’d never have understood how to even move in this suspended world! And besides, I wouldn’t be a True Dragon if it weren’t for you. Remember?"
<Heh, that’s only natural. I am your Manas, after all. But why are you acting like a god of creation lately? You're the Chaos Creator. This is kind of... beneath you, isn’t it?> Ciel mused.
"I'm just doing it out of boredom, okay?" Rimuru huffed, clearly defensive.
<Then I’ll create some worlds too!> Ciel declared, competitive as ever.
Ciel's worlds began with mundane material layers civilizations governed by basic physics. But as she moved up the hierarchy, the worlds became darker and stranger: undead realms filled with ghosts, chaotic abysses, and the ominous void a pale imitation of Rimuru's Turn Null. Higher still were celestial heavens, where gods themselves crafted the finer details of reality, shaping existence with harmony and balance.
"See? I'm amazing too!" Ciel declared.
Rimuru smirked, but his mind raced with new ideas. "Fine, but watch this!" He created a world that defied all categorization—where every scientific theory, mythological idea, and fictional concept coexisted in a swirling, chaotic maelstrom of imagination.
Ciel groaned in mock frustration. <You're just whining at this point... but that was well done.>
"Of course! I'm a genius." Rimuru laughed, basking in his creation.
<Heh... Don't get too full of yourself. And no more excuses about Veldanava!> Ciel shot back with a grin in her voice.
"Fine, fine... but you have to admit, I’m pretty good at this," Rimuru said with a playful wink.
