In the sterile confines of the hospital room, Y/N awoke, a strange absence of pain enveloping her. A mysterious voice resonated within her mind, uttering reassuringly, "You're alright." Bewildered, Y/N retorted in her native tongue, "II bodoh! Ape bende tu!?"

"Huh? What the hell are you speaking? Is it your native language or something?" Zero questioned . As she scanned the room, Zero revealed himself—a green hologram, maintaining an otherworldly presence despite his translucent form.

A nurse entered, conducting a routine check on Y/N, oblivious to Zero's existence. Y/N, now even more perplexed, switched to English. "Ok, since you don't know Malay, I will speak English. And I also have a question for you," she spoke with a mix of curiosity and calm.

"My name is Ultraman Zero, and I'm an Ultra Warrior from Planet M-78. I'll answer your other questions once we get to a more quiet and closed place," Zero preempted Y/N attempt to speak. The revelation left Y/N intrigued, ready to unravel the mysteries that lay ahead. As the nurse exited the room, Y/N contemplated the surreal encounter, her mind buzzing with questions about Zero's origin and the newfound connection between them. Little did she know, this encounter would mark the beginning of an extraordinary journey beyond the realms of ordinary existence.

Y/N, now determined to escape the confines of the hospital, stealthily navigated the corridors, evading nurses and doctors. However, her efforts were thwarted when she was discovered by a concerned nurse.

"Hey, are you lost, little kid? I think you are, What I know is that your parents died in the car crash and we couldn't save them. I'm sorry to tell you that, little one, but...you need to stay in an orphanage," the nurse compassionately explained.

Shocked by the devastating news, Y/N replied with a steely resolve, "I think I'll be better off on my own." With a swift kick, she pushed the nurse aside, making a daring escape from the hospital, leaving behind a trail of uncertainty and the echoes of her newfound reality.

In a nearby park, Zero approached Y/N concern etched on his holographic features. "Hey, you okay, kid?" he asked, reaching out in an attempt to comfort her.

"Just leave me alone and let me be a normal kid!" Y/N replied, her tone laced with harshness.

"Hey, sorry! I was just trying to comfort you! And besides, I can't leave you; we're basically one person now since I fused with you..." Zero explained, his words carrying a hint of understanding. The unlikely duo, now bound by a mysterious fusion, stood in the park, each grappling with the challenges that lay ahead.

"Whatever," Y/N said dismissively as she continued walking down a different path, the crunch of gravel beneath her boots echoing the distance she was putting between herself and whatever had just transpired.

Zero, catching up with quick steps, asked, "Hey, where are we going?"

"Home, of course," Y/N replied with an air of nonchalance.

"Uh, where's that?"

Y/N smirked, her gaze fixed ahead. "I have a home, you know. I have my house key."

"Okay..." Zero replied, perplexed.

As they stepped inside, the heavy door closed with a muted thud, sealing them within the walls that harbored Y/N past. A decisive click echoed as Damia locked the door, a subtle sign that some doors are best kept closed.

Leading Zero through the quiet corridors, Y/N   finally entered her room. It held an air of familiarity and intimacy, a space that had witnessed both joy and heartache. She gestured toward a neatly made bed. "You can sleep there, and if you're hungry, just let me know. I'm cooking anyway."

"Uhh, well, yeah, I'm kinda hungry, actually," Zero admitted.

Y/N eyes softened as she offered, "What about some ramen? I've got plenty of them."

"Yeah, I'll take any," Zero replied, appreciating the gesture.

As Y/N busied herself in the kitchen, the aroma of simmering broth and spices wafted through the air, creating a comforting ambiance. The room seemed to thaw with the warmth of shared moments, bridging the gap between two souls navigating the intricate tapestry of the present.

Mid-bite into the ramen, Zero mustered the courage to ask, "Hey, Y/N, I've got a question."

Y/Nlooked up, a hint of curiosity in her eyes. "Yeah?"

"So, why are you suddenly being nice to me? The first time I talked to you, you were pretty, uhh, 'sad.' I know your parents passed away, but why were you mad at me?" Zero questioned, trying to navigate the delicate balance of curiosity and concern.

Y/N paused, her gaze shifting. "Well, it's rude to treat people badly. Even if I'm older than you, I still believe in respecting others, to be honest," she replied, her words carrying a mixture of vulnerability and a subtle plea for understanding. The silence that followed held unspoken layers, like a bridge being built between two individuals.

"Well, now we better stop talking and instead finish our eating fast; there's another day tomorrow, you know," Y/N remarked.

"Okay," Zero replied, understanding the unspoken need for a quiet moment.

They finished their ramen in companionable silence, the clinking of utensils echoing the ease that had settled between them. With satisfied smiles, they left the remnants of the meal behind and retired to their respective beds, the promise of a new day lingering in the air.

As sleep gradually claimed them, the house held onto the hushed whispers of the past, gently cradling the present and the delicate threads of a connection that had begun to weave itself into the tapestry of their lives.
