𝐀 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐚𝐲

I start my day in a grumpy mood as always it's like my routine, i get up from my bed getting dressed with something that I grabbed from my dresser

I need to get early to luke's diner , it's where i work. To make some money as my mother doesn't give me any at all

I run downstairs , my mother as always wasn't at home I didn't really care but deep down it hurts.
I grab my keys as i leave the house closing the door behind me , that's when i finally look at the clock in my pulse...
IT WAS FREAKING 7:30
I was going to work to early this time! But i keep walking to get to the diner , my mind keeps saying "u could've sleep more dumbass" on and on , but i ignore all the things that are in my mind right now

Then when i was getting close to the diner I heard a cascade of plastic bags and cardboard boxes fall on the floor

"Shit" his voice was annoyed, understandably.

"Hi? Luke?" I finally look up and see it's Luke , so i start grabbing the boxes that fell on the floor

"Hi" he said helping me grabbing the boxes that fell on the floor

"Jeez, Luke. What's all this for?" I said which was out of character for Luke having Frosted Flakes, Cheetos, Gatorades, in his hands

"One is turning into two" he points at the diner.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked

"My nephew's coming from New York to live with me" he explains. I furrow my brows, gesturing to him that I would like to know more. "My sister is sendin' him here"

"Shit" i said as we finally grabbed everything of the floor "u don't look much happy" i said sarcastically

"Yea I can't wait" he joked as he sighed

"Do u want help?" I askedseeing him struggling to enter with all the groceries inside the diner

"Sure , thanks sam" he exclaimed handing me a plastic bag , it was really heavy but i take it to the diner , as we enter the diner we got to the apartment putting all the bags on the floor

'Thanks Sam' Luke said wiping the sweat of his forehead

'Any time boss!'i chuckled as he sigh

My today shift at luke's was until 10a.m , luke have exited the diner some minutes ago , he said he will be back soon , but didn't said anything more , so i waited for him to come back , right now it was 9:14 a.m luke is out for 5 minutes , and i'm getting bored when kirk finally decides what to ask for breakfast

"I would like a hamburguer but instead of meat i want a pancake" kirk said as I sighed

"We don't do that kirk , U know that" I told him

"Yea but as a costumer i would like that" he said as i was getting annoyed

"Kirk.. L.E.A.V.E... leave!"i exclaimed making kirk get up and leave in hurry

It's when a boy that i never saw in this town enters the diner and then Luke and i grew up in this town so obviously the boy was Luke's nephew
