𝐀 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐝𝐚𝐲

This morning i wake up late as the alarm didn't ring , i got stressed out as i see the time , i get up in my pajamas , as i look at the clock again , i was late for work at the diner , i dress up something that i found , as i start running towards the diner

As i enter in the diner i feel the smell of the bagels, i take one for me ,
as i hear luke , he was still in the kitchen doing something, as always he was mumbling something , i get my apron as i start taking the costumers orders and giving to Caeser , the first ones was the gilmores of course as always they were there ,and finally luke cane out of the kitchen when jess came from the curtains with a metalica shirt

"Morning" he said to me with a sleepy tone , rubbing his eyes

"Morning " i replied not even looking at jess

"U should be helping sam like... What's that shirt?" Luke asked to Jess referring to the metalica shirt

"It's a shirt" jess replied dry

"Change" luke replied in the same tone

"What?"

"Go upstairs and change it"

"I like this shirt"

"How can u like that?"

"It brings out my eyes"jess said ironically

"It really does, don't u see Lucas?!"i said giggling as i join their conversation , as my eyes met jess eyes , as he was already staring at me

"Don't u join this insanity Sam"Luke said poiting at me and then turning to jess "go change it Jess Now!"

"Jeez okay"he said as he took a glance of me heading upstairs

Today i didn't had school , i wasn't in chilton like rory , I attended stars hollow high , and like a public school I didn't had all the teacher's so , i would always come to work at Luke's to earn some money as i really needed
So today my shift would be until 2p.m
The diner was getting busy and jess wasn't coming downstairs so i was going to bring him downstairs, even if he didn't wanted, i start walking upstairs , I knocked 2 times at the door as jess opens it with sleepy eyes

"What?" Jess asked opening the door not even looking who it was

"I need ur help downstairs coworker"i said to jess
As he didn't said as he enter the apartment again and grabbing a book , he gets back to the doorframe and he say's

"So u let a busy diner with no one u must be smart huh janes?" He smirked at me putting his book on his pocket

"Shit" i mutter under my breath rushing downstairs
I see Caeser trying to attent all the costumers so i feel a relief

Jess grabs some order's like he knew what he was doing , but then it got overwhelming to him , of course he couldn't do it , he think he is a smartass but in the reality , he is just a teenager with several problems , i think to myself

"Jeez take this or else"he was saying to a costumer as i giggle grabbing the right order to the costumer "Ha ha" he did a sarcastically laugh

When finally the diner had less people jess sat at the counter taking the book of his pocket

"What are you reading?"i asked jess as he shows the book immediately but no words"Chatty boy"i joked rolling my eyes at him

'Hush Janes" he said not taking the eyes of the book but i could see his lips curling a bit
