CHAPTER 9

𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐮 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐢 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐢 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐨 𝐢'𝐦 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐢 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨.

Hanan POV:

      Today I woke up and do my normal routine,

      And I will make sure ifti talks to me today,

      And today's Saturday so I just said I will go to their house,

      Last time I went no one is at home but now I know is full,

      Because ifti has two sisters and two brothers,

      Yhh first born is Aliyu Muhammad and he is 20yrs old,

      Second born Asmau muhammad and she is 18yrs old,

      Third born Fatima Muhammad and she is 17yrs old,

       Fourth born my sweet bestie ifti muhammad you know her,

       Then the last born Auwal muhammad who is 10yrs old.

      And that's their family when I was done I went downstairs,

      I saw mom in the kitchen I greeted her and she answered so I asked her,

      "Ammi yau(today) I want to go to ifti's place pls" I said pouting,

    "Did you guys fight I know you're not going for nothing"she said,

      Ammi knows me well so to escape a lecture I said,

      "Ammi can't I go to my bestie house without anything I just want to see her"I said,

      "Ohk you can go but don't be late come back before 7"she said,

      I quickly agreed and thanked her and went back to pick up my things,

     'Ifti you must talk to me today if my name is not Hanan' I thought,

     I went and called the driver and told him where he will take me,

    After some minutes we arrived at ifti's house,

    We live in the same area but our house are far from each other,

    So I went to the entrance of the house and rang the doorbell,

    The maid opened it I smiled at her she returned the smile,

    I asked"is everyone home and especially ifti",

     She said"yes everyone's home except for Alhaji he has travelled",

     I said ok and went inside,I followed their corridor to the living room,

    I salamed and entered and saw their mom watching TV,

    As always I hugged her from behind to surprise her,

      "Oh my god who is behind me"she said holding her chest,

      "Mama is me Hanan did I scared you ne am sorry" I said,

     "Ohh Hanan yes you scared me but is nothing I forgive you" she said,

     Then I came to her front and hugged her properly,

     "What happened that you are here today"she said looking at me,

    They know us so well and I know she saw a change in ifti's behavior,

     "Mama can't I come and see you guys must it be something that happened" I said,

     "You are like a daughter to me and I saw my daughter's behavior"she said,

     "It's nothing I just missed you and ifti me too I don't know what happened to her" I said,

    "Ohk ohh but if you are fighting I want you back"she said,

     "Ohk now where is she I didn't see her around"I said looking around,

   "She is upstairs in the living room but if it's fight you know her" she said,

    I just said bye to her and walked upstairs to the living room,

     I opened the slide door and saw all her siblings except her,

    I greeted them and they told me she's in her room,

    I went to her room and opened it slowly and saw her sleeping,

   I went to her side and saw she was inside the duvet using her phone,

    I said"ifti guess who came to see her best friend",

   She removed the duvet from her head and look at me or should I say eyeing me,

    "What are you doing here and I don't have best friend" she said glaring at me,

    "Come on I said I'm sorry pls forgive me I just forget about it" I said,

      "Nop why do you have to forget about this important thing" she said,

   "You know i was sick and I forget and you know me"I said,

   "I'm sick me too and I forget I have a best friend"she said,

     "Ohk punish me pls I want my bestie pls and I will tell you everything I promise" I said,

     "You want a punishment ohk ohh hold your ears and do frog jump and not one alot until I laugh" she said,

    "Ohk I will do it and when you laugh I'm forgiven" I said,

    She just said 'yhh' and I started doing it,

   And her she is trying to hide her smile when I did ten,

     Then when I did 20 she started laughing I just layed on the ground,

   Because I was tired but I want my best friend back so I did it,

     When her laugh died down she looked at me smiling,

   "Ohh how I miss that beautiful smile" I said,

     "You promise you'll not do it again because if you do haha you know the rest" she said hugging me,

     I hugged her back so tight I miss her hugs,

    Then I told her everything single thing I forget to tell her,

     After I'm done telling her mama said we should come downstairs,

    We ate dinner because it's late I went back home,

    When I told Ammi I'm back I went to my room,

      Then I changed my clothes and carried my phone,

     And checked my Instagram and Whatsapp,

     Then Ifti called and we talked for some minutes,

    Then I kept my phone in charge then went downstairs,

     Because I was thirsty I went to the fridge and carried a bottle of water,

    Then went back to my room and drink it,

     I went to the toilet and did my night routine,

    Then came out and carried my laptop and watched a film,

     I was done with the movie then I kept it and enter my duvet,

     And I did my prayer then close my eyes then sleep took me to La-la land.
