I'll never forget this, my first book and it got so much love. The whole credit goes to you all, who have read this book, voted and commented. I love you all so much!

Zeus’s eyes widened when he saw Y/N and Noah walking together. This time, he wasn’t angry. In fact, he was relieved—grateful that she had returned. He had been waiting outside her house for over an hour, worry gnawing at him, regret tightening his chest with every passing second.

"Y/N!" He rushed toward her, desperation evident in his voice. But before he could touch her, she quickly moved behind Noah, clutching the back of his shirt with trembling hands.

Zeus froze, swallowing hard as his heart clenched painfully. The sight of her hiding from him hurt more than her words ever could. He knew he had made a terrible mistake—a mistake he could never undo.

"Zeus, stop," Noah said coldly, stepping slightly in front of her and raising his index finger in warning. "She’s already been through enough because of you. She needs rest, not more of your drama."

Zeus’s breathing was ragged, his eyes filled with sorrow. "Y/N… please, let me hold you—just once. Let me apologize properly." His voice cracked.

But she didn’t look at him. She didn’t take a single step toward him. Her grip on Noah’s shirt tightened.

Noah gently placed his hand over hers, steadying her. "She doesn’t want to," he said firmly.

Zeus’s jaw tensed. "Noah, shut up. She has a mouth—she can speak for herself." His voice softened as he looked at her, his eyes pleading. "Y/N, please… just a hug. I need to know you’re okay."

Noah leaned down, his voice calm but encouraging. "Tell him no yourself. He needs to hear it from you."

Her lips parted as she licked them nervously. Slowly, she nodded. "No, Zeus… Stay away from me. I’m done. I’m breaking up with you. Right here. Right now."

A shadow crossed Zeus’s face, his expression darkening into something twisted. His eyes flashed dangerously as he stepped closer. "You think you can break up with me?"

Before Noah could react, Zeus grabbed Y/N’s wrist, yanking her toward him. He shot a glare at Noah. "I’m not going to hurt her. Back off. Give us a moment."

Noah folded his arms, his posture tense and guarded. "Do whatever you want, but do it here. In front of me. I don’t trust you with her."

Zeus’s eyes narrowed. "Shut up for a second."

He turned back to Y/N, cupping her face gently. "Look at me… please," he whispered. His thumb traced her cheek, his touch tender despite the anger simmering beneath the surface.

Y/N closed her eyes, but the image of his furious face from before was still fresh in her mind. Slowly, reluctantly, she opened them again and met his gaze.

He smiled softly and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "I’m so sorry. Jealousy got the best of me. I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness, but I also know you… You believe in second chances. Please, give me one more chance. I’ll make it right. I’ll never hurt you again. I promise."

Her brows furrowed. "You promised that last time too, Zeus."

"I know," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "And I’m sorry I broke that promise. But I swear on everything, I won’t break it again. Just… one more chance. Please."

Noah’s heart pounded in his chest. He didn’t trust Zeus. He didn’t want her to go back to him. His hands trembled slightly as he watched Y/N glance at him, her eyes full of apology.

Noah shook his head subtly, hoping she wouldn’t do it.

But then, she turned back to Zeus. "Okay… I’ll give you another chance."

A small piece of Noah’s heart cracked. His fists clenched at his sides as he fought the urge to leave. He wanted to storm off, hurt and betrayed, but he stayed—for her safety. She had become his priority.

Zeus’s face lit up with relief. He wrapped her in a tight hug, kissing her forehead and cheeks repeatedly. "Thank you… Thank you, Y/N. I’ll never forget this. I love you so much."

She smiled faintly, though the warmth didn’t reach her eyes. "I love you too…" Her voice was flat, void of any real emotion.

She glanced over her shoulder, but Noah was gone.

"Where did Noah go?" she asked.

Zeus shrugged, his tone casual. "Home, probably."

Noah slammed the door to his room, his chest heaving with frustration. "Of all the girls in the world, I had to fall for my brother’s girlfriend with a tragic past. Goddamn it!" He ran a hand through his hair, pacing the room angrily.

"Is she blind? Dumb? Can she not see what kind of person he is? He literally hurt her, and yet she still went back to him. Stupid girl…"

His eyes flicked to the chest freezer in the corner of the room, curiosity gnawing at him again. He had been suspicious of it for weeks.

"Plus, this freezer… it’s driving me insane. I have to know what’s inside."

Without wasting another second, Noah rushed to Zeus’s locked room. To his surprise, it wasn’t locked this time. His brows shot up.

"Really? You’re so obsessed with her that you forgot to lock your little mystery room?"

He slipped inside, searching every corner for the key to the freezer. His mind raced. "Where would he hide it? Knowing Zeus, it’s probably somewhere no one would ever suspect…"

His eyes widened as the realization hit him. "His jeans. The ones he was wearing earlier."

Digging through the laundry, he quickly found the jeans and, just as he suspected, a small key tucked in one of the pockets.

"Got you," he muttered, smirking.

He rushed to the freezer, his heart pounding as he inserted the key. With a soft click, the lid popped open, and a foul stench hit him immediately, making him gag.

"What the hell…"

Noah’s eyes widened in horror at the sight inside. His blood ran cold. "No… no… no way…" His voice trembled as he stumbled back, slamming the lid shut.

He fumbled for his phone, his hands shaking violently as he dialed the number.

"Hello… police?"
