FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW

The conversation with Wales continues in her office.

Me: So, from now on, I'll be assigned to Allen's fleet.

Wales: Indeed, before your arrival, two kansen from Allen's fleet resigned.

Well, it was to be expected. In such a short time, they witnessed their commander's death, bloodshed, and how the sirens mercilessly killed humans. Fortunately, we were able to save Allen's life, at least.

Me: I apologize for the trouble, but could you inform me about what the sirens are and how they operate?

That's the main question. While my sister knows something, she only has very basic information and doesn't know much about the enemy.

Wales: There is very little information about the sirens. The only thing that has been deciphered is that they are intelligent beings not from Earth. They come from a very different world than ours or from a parallel reality.

Me: I see.

Wales: It's also known that they can turn living beings into war machines. They have turned whales, seals into warships, as well as ordinary humans into killing machines. It's also known that they can transform kansen into war machines without mercy or remorse. Despite many decades since the war started, we know almost nothing about our enemies, and the very little we know is that humanity managed to acquire the technology of mental cubes, allowing us to possess the weapons of warships.

Me: I understand. One more thing, why are all the kansen women?

Wales: There are many reasons, but the main reason is quite silly yet important. The reason is simple: the sirens are women. All of them are women. To date, no male sirens have been seen because the technology is based on siren technology. Well, men are not compatible with the black mental cube, and when they try to activate them, their bodies suddenly explode and end up as a liquid mass of flesh. In the past, attempts were made to fix this, but it was impossible.

Me: Ahhh, that makes a lot of sense.

Guise: No, it doesn't.

Wales: Yes, it does, my friend.

I began to ponder Wales' words, realizing that all kansen are women because they couldn't make it work with male individuals due to insufficient technology.

Wales: Well, if you'll excuse me, I have a lot of work to do at the moment. In a while, a kansen from Allen's fleet will come to guide you. I'll let you know in advance that she is one of Allen's sisters.

Me: Thank you very much.

So, we bid farewell to Wales and left the room. Just in time, Cooper, one of Allen M. Summer's sisters, is there.

Guise: Look, sister, she's Cooper. She's even cuter in person.
