Felix is walking along the dark and cold but colorful streets of Seoul while trying to call his best friend Hyunjin. Hyunjin has been his crush for a while now and can't help but desire to FaceTime him daily to make sure he is well.
Felix keeps glancing down at his phone to see if he's picked up yet as he feels the soft vibrations along his fingers coming from his iPhone. 𝘷𝘻𝘻𝘵.... 𝘷𝘻𝘻𝘵..... 𝘷𝘻𝘻𝘵... *𝘾𝙇𝙄𝘾𝙆*
"𝐇𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐣𝐢𝐧! " Felix says happily as he notices Hyunjin has answered the phone.
"𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱," he says relaxed as he smiles towards the phone. "𝐈𝐦 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐬𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤" Hyunjin says, looking back to the road and notices Felix nodding on the phone.
"𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠? " asks Felix. "𝐈𝐦 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐬! 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠? " Hyunjin replies, looking back to the phone. "𝐍𝐨𝐩𝐞! 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐞" Felix says smiling, making his freckles noticeable.
Hyunjin loves the way his freckles stand out. Well, Hyunjin loves everything about Felix. He loves it when he smiles his eyes light up brightly, and he warms up the whole room with even one giggle.
"𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧! " Hyunjin says, smiling to himself after seeing such a lovely view.
"𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬? Asks Felix. "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭? 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥, 𝐢 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮" Responds Hyunjin.
"𝐈 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐞𝐭.. " Hyunjin adds, slightly embarrassed. "𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥, 𝐢 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩!" Felix replies and lets out a few soft giggles. Hyunjin can't help but smile.
"𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱, 𝐈 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤? " Hyunjin realizes worryingly. "𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐡? 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭? " Felix replies questioningly. "𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤, 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭, 𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝. 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲." Hyunjin says naming off things.
"𝐈𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭, 𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞! " Says Felix cheerfully. "𝐈 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐬𝐨... " Hyunjin replies, still worrisome. "𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲,𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮"
Everything for Hyunjin goes dark as he hears screaming, glass shattering, and a loud smashing noise. His vision comes back and he sees his friend covered in blood and glass as he is unconscious. He hears someone put their fingers on the side of his neck and check his pulse. "𝐇𝐞𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞" replies the mysterious voice.
