Zach POV

as I finish working I walk to the kitchen and grab a blood bag from the deep freezer which is next to the fridge and I place it on the counter

I personally prefer my blood cold like a nice cold drink, as I wait for it to thaw out I hear some noise,sounds like....struggling

I walk to my ruby's room and I see him sleeping so I leave the room "maybe he was just trying to change his sleeping position, "I mean that's understandable ,since he is chained to the crib, I check the time to see its only 2:19 am

Ruby POV 

I woke around 2:16 and started to squirm confused why I cant move and I realized he chained me to the bed ,"fucking creep"I shut up quickly when I heard footsteps so I just pretended to be asleep and act like I was trying to change my sleep position in m- no in the crib I was in

as I hear him leave the room mumbling to himself I knew he was gone ,I open my eyes and and look at the chains "damn they need a key"I groan and I came up with a sorta risky idea,I start to squirm even though I'm being restrained ,I see Zach walk back in and I put my plain into action and I started crying pretending I was scared"p-please t-tu-rn o-on the l-l-lights ,i-i...don't li-like the d-dark"I continue crying fake tears 

Zach POV 

once I hear struggling again I walk back into the bedroom and sees hims staring at me and he starts to cry "p-please t-tu-rn o-on the l-l-lights ,i-i...don't li-like the d-dark"I look at him with a look of fake sympathy since I knew he was lying ,does he really think I'm an idiot "does little one want to sleep with daddy?"I say with a sweet gentle voice and once I see him nod I block his view as I unchain him ,

only reason I did that was because I knew if he seen the key shape and color he would be able to steal it without having to try every key,once I unchain him I pick him up and carries him to my room where I lay him in my bed and I keep on one of the lamp lights ,I remembered I needed to drink blood so I wont go hungry and end up killing my little ruby ,so I chained his wrist to the bed frame and i walk to the kitchen and drink my blood bag I left out earlier 

Ruby POV

once he laid me in bed he kept the lamp light on ,and for some reason Zach looks pale like really pale ,but I didn't care, as I waited for him to do something ,I see him about to leave then he handcuffs me to the bed ,well there goes my plan ,once he leaves I sit up and see a bobby pin on the bed ,"so random but so perfect for its timing "I grab it and start to unlock the handcuffs and after 3 minutes I finally uncuffed myself ,I get out of bed and go to the kitchen ,I'm pretty sure the front door is the dumbest way to escape since its the first place everyone would go so I'm gonna go out the backdoor

as I'm walking I hear a sound of slurping? wait no it sounds like drinking?,I stop and peak into the kitchen and see da- no I mean Zach in the kitchen drinking some type of red juice ,why is it in a blood bag? I go to him and see that his eyes are red like blood "oh shit..."once I said that Zach looked at me "hmm? how you get out of the handcuffs little one"as he spoke I realized I fucked up ...bad

"wait is that your drinking?"he only smirks and drinks the rest of the red juice and he throws the empty packet in the trash and grabs me by my arm and lifts me up onto his hip and carries me to the the room between his and mines ,when he opens the door I see that its just an office ,and he sits down on the chair with me in his lap "wait if i told that im a very powerful person with connections to vampires and wolfs and other creature"i look at him and i say bluntly "i would probably scream and run away "he chuckles at my response even though i was dead serious"well for one i'm a vampire and second im a mafia boss ,im well known in the undergrounds "i stare at him "vampires aren't really dodo bird "i was getting annoyed ,okay maybe vampires and creatures were real but you saying your a vampire without proof is ridiculous "well what if i show you that i'm actually a vampire would you believe me then "i look at him and nods ,suddenly his eyes turn red and i see his fangs there sharp like a knife ,i sit there shocked ,scared ,and confused
