John

When John found out he was placed in another group other than his siblings, he panicked. Well, not externally of course. His little antisocial heart couldn't take that kind of embarrassment. Usually when it came to family gatherings or going to high school events, he would stick next to his brother or sister. They did the talking, and he got to read or be on his phone until the event was over.

But now that he was placed in a group with a bunch of people he didn't know, he didn't have the type of luxury, and he was forced to...ugh...socialize.

Forget wanting to go back to Harriet, Heiram, his dad, or even his Aunt Reia. Just kill him already.

"(J.) So, you're our grade right? Isn't the school system different here in America?" The girl, John remembered introducing herself as 'Mina', asked him. The translator around his neck converted the speech into english, and John nodded silently.

Mina pouted lightly. "Hm, not talkative, huh?"

Her arm still remained around his shoulder, and the boy was pressed into her side while they all made their way through the park. Sero only shook his head, obviously catching onto the slightly uncomfortable look on John's face. Asui turned toward Mina with furrowed eyebrows, also catching onto John's uncomfortableness. Kaminari gave John a lopsided smile, then turned to Mina before speaking.

"Hey, remember that girl that was next to him earlier? She said that 'he'll warm up.' If that's the case, I think he might be shy!"

"Oh, really?" Mina said. Turning to the boy in her arms, she leaned forward, eyes intently studying his face. John quickly averted his gaze with his lips parted slightly as he felt his cheeks beginning to grow warm. The tan girl grinned.

Kirishima could only laugh sheepishly at his friend. Shaking his head, he moved next to Mina before gently taking her off from John. She gave him a confused look, and he gave her a sheepish smile.

"I think you need to give John some space. I don't think being so close will help him get comfortable."

"What? Why not?"

Kirishima blinked. John turned to Mina in confusion. In all of his years, he couldn't fathom that someone actually said that. What did she mean 'why not?' Was it a normal thing for random people to hug you even though you didn't know them? Was that how it usually went from whatever country they came from? There's no way, could it? Or maybe it was because she was super social? A 'social butterfly' as some people would call them? Or is it extrovert? They both meant the same thing didn't they?

That's when he realized. John's eyes widened.

Oh no. I think I'm surrounded by extroverts.

And that single realization is what made him panic. Again.

For the next few hours, the group and their chaperone 'Aizawa' walked around the park, going to one ride after the other in record time. John wasn't fond of rollercoasters, and it was extremely unfortunate that he got stuck with a group that enjoyed the thrill of falling. Although after the first two roller coaster rides, he already felt like jumping off the roof. Thankfully, a teen in the group, who John learned was Kirishima, took pity on him, and John was exempt from riding any more.

While they rode on another rollercoaster, John stood next to Aizawa, watching as most of the people on the ride screamed in delight, some others screaming in terror. Now that he was on level ground and alone, it gave the boy time to think. To think about where these people came from, and what they were doing with his Aunt Reia.
