Demigod Sister

Calliope Elizabeth Golbach's perspective:

I was walking around with Hyacinth when it happened.

My hair was down and I was wearing a sleeveless teal shirt, light blue jumper and jeans. Hyacinth was rocking a yellow long-sleeved shirt and some jeans.

"I'm going to head this way for a second," Hyacinth told me, gesturing towards an alley. I nodded.

"I'll keep going forward. See you soon."

We separated and I kept walking, sighing.

It had been months since Percy's disappearance. We'd searched LA, and here we were in Las Vegas.

I ran into someone.

"Oh!" I gasped, stumbling back. "I'm so sorry!"

He laughed, waving his hand. "It's fine, I wasn't looking."

"I wasn't either," I pointed out. I offered my hand out. "Calliope Golbach."

"...Golbach?" He repeated. I nodded.

"Yessir."

"I'm Sam."

"Yo Callie!" Cassie appeared, panting. Her eyes widened. "Oh no."

"What?" I asked, frowning.

"Cal, I love you," Cassie grabbed my shoulders and dragged me away. "But that's your brother."

"I'm sorry?"

"You heard me."

After digesting that news, I found Sam and gestured for him to follow me.

"Is your mother Cindy Golbach?" I asked once we were in private.

"How did you know?"

"That's my mother, too."
