Ramya Mehra, a BCom student at JD College, once a top performer, now struggled to pass her exams. Following her parents' sudden demise, she found herself alone with her elder brother, Arjun. With the weight of responsibilities thrust upon him, Arjun had little time to spare for Ramya, leaving her feeling isolated in their home. As a result, she became detached from her friends and her academic performance suffered.
"Beta, what's all this?" Arjun asked, his tone filled with concern. "It's been six months since mummy and papa left. You need to move on."
Ramya remained silent, her head hung low as she stood before him.
"Bachhe samajh, padhai naa kar ke agar mummy papa wapas aa jate to main bhi sab kuch chodd deta hu or yaha baith jata hu. Par aisa nahi hota hai." Arjun explained gently. He rose from his seat and approached her, enveloping her in a comforting side hug. "Mere paas time hota to main khud padha deta tujhe Ramya. Lekin mere paas abhi time nahi hai. Main ek tutor appoint kar raha hu, kal vo aayenge tujhe padhane. Okay?"
"Okay," Ramya muttered softly.
"Mann laga ke padhna. Hum dono ghumne chalenge after your exams" Arjun suggested.
"Alright," Ramya agreed quietly.
"Go rest now. It's late," Arjun instructed, and Ramya silently left his study room.
Arjun dialed his friend's number, who also happened to be a trustee at Ramya's college.
"Hello, Dhruv, kaisa hai?" inquired Arjun.
"Bhai, main toh theek hoon. Aaj tujhe kaise meri yaad aa gayi?" responded Dhruv.
"Kuch nahi, bas thoda Ramya ko leke pareshan hoon," Arjun replied.
"Kyu, Ramya ko kya hua?" Dhruv asked, concern evident in his voice.
"Uske grades bahut kam ho gaye hain. She is struggling to even pass exams," Arjun explained, his tone filled with worry for his sister.
"Ramya toh bahut bright student hai," remarked Dhruv.
"Haa, bas mummy papa ka naa rehna uspe bahut negative asar kar raha hai. Tu kisi ko janta hai jo ise padha de toh achha rehta. I'll forever be grateful to you," Arjun expressed his gratitude.
"Ab dosti mein kaisi thank you. Ramya meri bhi toh choti behen hai. College ke Commerce department head, Advay Sharma, unse baat karta hoon," Dhruv assured.

"Hello, Mr. Adhikari, is there anything I can assist you with?" Advay inquired.
"Hello Mr Sharma, can you stop using your professional tone with me. Main tujhe dost maanta hu tu ye har waqt Mr Mr karta rehta hai" Dhruv said, a hint of annoyance evident in his voice.
Advay chuckled lightly and replied, "Alright, tell me, why did you call at this hour?"
Dhruv retorted, "Ab kya main tujhe call bhi nahi kar sakta? Uske liye din raat dekhna padega kya?"
"Achha thik hai, ab bol bhi" said Advay.
"Ek student hai apne college mein, uska Bhai mera achha dost hai, usne mujhse request ki uski behen ke liye ek tutor ki zarurat hai use. Tu padha de use free time mein," said Dhruv.
"Yaar tu to janta hai main tuitions nhi deta kisi ko," said Advay.
"Ek baar consider kar le. Bhot hi bright student hai but kuch family problems ki wajah se use padhne mein dikkat ho Rahi hai," said Dhruv.
"Yaar main to nahi padha paunga lekin kisi or se puch le. Mrs Dixit se puch le maybe vo padha de," said Advay.
"Achha thik hai main Ramya ko bol dunga vo Mrs Dixit se mil le," said Dhruv.
Advay's ear perked up at the mention of Ramya's name.
"Ek minute kya name bola tu ne?" Asked Advay.
"Ramya, Ramya Mehra. Topper of the last semester," said Dhruv.
"Ramya," muttered Advay slowly and softly.
"Thik hai, main padha dunga lekin main uske Ghar nhi Jaa paunga, usko bhej dena," said Advay.
"Tu apne ghar mein padhayega? Tu to kabhi nahi bulata kisi ko apne ghar," said Dhruv, surprised at Advay's statement.
"Main busy hu filhal, tujhe bhejna ho to bhej dena usko kal," said Advay.
"Acha thik hai, kal se aa jayegi vo. Or sun thoda aaram se, gussa matt kario uspe, meri bhen jaisi hai," requested Dhruv.
"Haa haa thik hai. Chal bye," said Advay and cut the call.
Advay leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes."Ramya, kyu mere dil dimaag mein ghumti rehti ho?" said Advay, smiling slightly.
