It's not an update or anything related to the book. I was reading one of my favourite book Tainted Desires on Wattpad and saw a dialogue there.
When the female lead cooks food for some other man and the male lead says "ab kya is chuchundar ke liye bhi khana bnaogi?"
This scene reminded me of the first time I had to cook for some guests and my husband said "Itna kya zarurat hai khana banane ki sabke liye. Samose khilao or bhagao sabko nahi to maa ko bolo help karengi. Tum kyu akele khana banaogi. Tum nahi banaogi."
I still remember that day, my mother in law didn't said anything to me but was grumbling to my husband that he never showed this concern to her and even used to add dishes to the menu.
But at the end of the day, i only cooked one dish and the other dish was cooked by my sister in law.
