Fascination rises from
Impenetrable wells;
Unprecedented distances
Infantify love's spells.
What hellion so occludes my life
And holds my hopes at bay?
To my inconstancies I'm bound,
Sweet hostage, gone astray.Dear intimate of mine,
Companion to my common days,
I shudder at your dominance,
Your dazzling display.
To you and your maneuvering
Submit I utterly,
And when we must at last part ways,
Quite plaintive will I be.
