Suu sighed as she lied on her bed. It was already around three in the morning. She still had not changed out of her wet kimono but the rainy scent only made her eyes feel heavier. Aki had walked her home although it was so late. She was probably worried that Suu would get lost or picked up by some strangers because of how small she is. Suu stared at the ceiling as she rumbled through her thoughts of yesterday. Suddenly a loud sound struck outside. Suu's eyes widened as she buried herself under her blanket. "W-what was that?" Suu thought to herself as she trembled with fear. The sound was very loud and very close Suu felt as if it had struck her home. Suu took in a breath and held it as she awaited for the next sound. Nothing. Everything was completely silent besides the soft thumping on the roof from the pouring rain. Letting out a long sigh Suu uncovered herself and thought for a minute. " It couldn't have been lighting, none of the power went off." But she was wrong. All of her lights flickered for a couple of seconds and went off. " Oh no." Suu thought worried. She then slid off her bed and squinted her eyes trying to adjust to the sudden darkness. " Mom said she put candles somewhere in the kitchen drawer". Suu mumbled as she felt her way out of her room. Her mother and father were working overseas leaving her to take care of the house herself. They left her money but Suu didn't use much of it. As she finally moved into the living room Suu heard the back door opened in a harsh manner. "What! I'm pretty sure I locked the back door, maybe a robber?" Suu thought as her heart sped up. She nervously shuffled around the living room trying to find a place to hide, but she was too late. A large shadow loomed over her, it was a tall woman. Suu could barely make out her features but she didn't look as mean. The women crouched down and stroked Suu's hair gently.
" Suu, Right?" She said in the most calming tone. Suu nodded a little as she looked at the women more clearly now that she was closer.
" She's beautiful, Almost like a princess. She'd be a perfect match for that golden prince!" Suu thought as the women stood up. The women looked at Suu examining her from head to toe although she was still sitting on the floor. Smiling she nodded pleased.
" You'd be perfect although, you a Tad shorter than I expected." She said still hanging onto her tone of voice ignoring Suu's glare at her comment. Suu stood up to face the women but made sure to not loose her cool.
" What do you mean I'd be perfect?" Suu asked the beautiful women. Elegantly the women touched Suu's cheek with her fingertips as her eyes suddenly became weary and sad.
" It'd be nice if I didn't have to do this child, but I have no choice and neither do you. Fate has come upon the twelve of you. If only the year of 2000 curse had not come true, we would have last forever. I'm sorry but this might hurt a little. " This was the last thing Suu had heard from the women as everything went black.
