Thing About The Cage Left Behind
The Foundation Which Won't Disappear So Easily
The Cage Has Been There Since The Beginning
Sheltering, Guarding, Protecting
The Mocking Bird
That Can Leave In A Guiltless Manner
When The Cage Can Not Forget As Well
For The Bird's Shadow Will Remain
In The Dust Of The Cage
