She left the room without any answer, leaving Rudra confused for the reason of her annoyance.

What have I done? Why did she get so annoyed? Wasn't it she who suggested this test? I just gave a simple test to her. If Akshad Sir was praising his daughter for her immense knowledge then she would have been able to write it.

The chain of thoughts broke when Rudra heard a knock on the door. He saw Ramaiah peeping through the door. Rudra asked him what happened.

Ramaiah replied, " Sir there is a man who is waiting outside."

Thinking as another person who wants try his luck here he nodded. Ramaiah went out and a man entered the door without knocking. Rudra, who was busy with his work, looked up. He shaked his head and said, " I should have thought it is you."

The detective entered into the room. Closing the door behind him, he sat on the chair.

" So Mr. Detective, when are you going to tell me your name."

" Sir my name is not important. What is important is that you will not be calling me Mr. Detective. I don't want anyone to come to know that I am..." said the man, lowering his voice and signalled Rudra to come near, "detective."

Rudra, leaning back, looked at him with his eyes wide and said, " I see. Well that is not important, you see. Tell me the reason why you are here."

The man said, " I can sometimes be really forgetful. I have come here to tell you that Durga is staying at her father's house."

" I know that. She had come here for job." said Rudra, in a cold voice.

" You gave her?" asked the man. He felt his reputation was at stake if Rudra found out more than what he had found out.

" Sort of. So you were telling something."

" We came to know that Indrajeet is in hospital. He has been suffering from liver cirrhosis."

" Serves him right." said Rudra, smirking.

" You are wrong Sir. A kind soul, before his death, donated his organs. So Indrajeet recently underwent a liver transplant."

" Are you serious?" asked Rudra. Just when he thanked God for serving justice to Indrajeet, the news of transplant was distressing.

" And he has been advised to have bed rest till two weeks. If we can assume that he heeds the advice of the doctor then Durga is safe for two weeks."

" What makes you think that he will come here?" asked Rudra. He was feeling very tensed for Durga. But he was oblivious of the reason.

" Well Sir you didn't listen last time when I was telling it to you but when Durga published the article on Kamakhya Temple, Indrajeet was very unhappy. For five years their relationship was just for namesake. No one in their family had ever filed for divorce. Durga did it. There is a good amount of chance that he will come here."

Rudra was puzzled. He asked, " Wasn't the divorce papers signed by Indrajeet? Why will he come here?"

The man sighed and said, " Sir this is the most difficult case I have ever handled. There are so many mysteries, no proper information. Please give me some time."

" Okay." said Rudra. The man left the room.

I hope Durga comes tomorrow... I will ask her about the divorce... however painful it may be for her... she should be saved from Indrajeet...

She picked up the book and saw the cover. It had a picture. A picture which could be the solution of her problem. She was lost in the book for few moments when she realised that she had actually found her answer. She closed her eyes thanking Goddess Shakti.
