We built our tall towers, and we shut ourselves up inside them while the city outside fell to Lud. Now we make our baronies up in Sky, away from The Wild below, venturing rarely into the subterranean PATHs. We are pirates of glass and steel and cloud: agoraphobes in denial who insist on calling ourselves kings.
Skyward is the extreme consequence of an urban world, obsessed with condofication and the story of one man, lost in it, and wishing he could crawl back down out of the sky.
