Late nights, Early mornings

*Shelby's POV*

I moaned waking up feeling sharp pain in the lower part of my stomach. I rolled over facing Louis who was still asleep. I whimpered snuggling closer to him hoping she'd calm down at the touch of Louis's skin but tonight that wasn't the case.

"Louis." I mumbled into his chest. "Baby please."

"Hmm what's wrong?" Louis asked looking at me.

"I'm afraid she isn't going to wait until we get home." I sighed.

"Wait do you mean?" Louis asked making me nod my head. "Okay just wait here I'm going to get mum."

"No I'm coming with. The pain isn't as bad when you're talking to me. I can ignore it better." I said.

"Okay then come on love." Louis said helping me out of the room.

We quietly walked to Jay's and Robins room.

"Mum." Louis whispered waking Jay up.

"Louis what's wrong?" Jay asked sitting up.

"Shelby's in labor. She's not gonna make it to go home." Louis said.

"Okay, robin honey." Jay said waking him up.

"Yeah?" Robin asked turning on the light.

"Can you get the kids and leave? Shel is in active labor." Jay said as she got out of bed.

"Yeah sure." Robin said.

"Take our kids too please." Louis said.

"Ouch." I hissed gripping Louis's hand.

"I'm here baby. Breathe." Louis whispered calmly kissing my head.

"Shel, do you want water?" Jay asked.

"Not right now. My doctor talked about one of those big yoga balls do you have them?" I asked.

"Yeah, go get into a sports bra or a long t shirt with no bottoms so we can check you when needed." Jay said.

"Babe what was that?" Louis asked.

"My water just broke." I said looking down.

"Okay let's get you changed." Louis said helping me back to our room.

"I can change myself." I said as I got undressed.

Louis laughed sitting down.

I put my sports bra on and fixed my bun so my hair isn't in my face.

"Let's go. Although I feel weird being halfway naked in your mums house." I said.

"It's fine it's just me you and my mum." Louis said as we walked downstairs.

"I have ice water for you on the coffee table. The yoga ball you asked for is in there as well." Jay said as she set up the house.

"Okay thank you." I smiled small.

"Go lay down babe and get comfortable." Louis said.

"Babe I'm fine walking around. Promise." I mumbled kissing his lips.

"Okay." He sighed into the kiss.

"Louis don't stress her out babe. She needs calm energy." Jay said.

I moaned leaning on the counter as another contraction hit.

Louis reached behind him grabbing the pen and notebook writing down the time.

"Babe?" I asked.

"Yeah Hun?" Louis asked looking at me.

"Can you get my water bottle that your mum got me?" I asked.
