WORLD OF LIES

I once lived in a world full of love
A world I thought was a gift from up above
A world perfectly made
A world I thought would last a decade.

Everything seemed perfect
But then, "what the heck!"
I was blinded by the sweet lines
And was hit by the landmines.

Everyone's opinion was harsh
But they were right, coz now it left me scars
I tried to follow what I feel
And believed something that ain't real.

I used to be so choosy
But when it comes to him, I was a bit silly
I know all his flaws
But still I rejected all the laws.

It was us against the world
Straight things in my life turned curve
I really didn't see it coming
Guess it was just me loving.

He shared all his plans
Under the stars, we used to dance
He seems to be so happy with me
But then those were just lies, I just didn't see.

Though I know from the start that this wouldn't last
That one day, sweet moments would just disappear like a dust
I don't know why I kept pushing it through
Even though I know that I could be hurt by you.

Those special instants stolen in secrets
Now became a history I couldn't forget
The moves I did made me regret
Although from the start I know we were not meant.

But everything happens for a reason
Someday I'll find someone in the perfect season
This experience taught me a lot
Though pain is what all I got.

Yes, I once lived in a fairytale world
In an imperfect yet magical place
In a world where people wear disguise
A world full of lies.
