SUMMARY
Montana Rowe likes lists.
She even made a list of everything she could potentially go through after her acceptance letter from Harvard came in the mail, but, when she steps foot inside the dorm, she soon realizes there are things no one ever warns you about.
They tell you to attend all your classes, to always carry water and a snack with you, to get to know your roommate and to seek balance between the personal, social and academic aspects of your life.
They never tell you you'll accidentally end up sleeping through your alarm in the second week of college or that you'll embarrass yourself by nearly burning your roommate with the scorching hot coffee you brought for them or by hitting on said roommate's boyfriend because you're a lightweight drinker.
They also never tell you your college guide will be your ex-best friend, your ex-something, your ex-almost. They also never tell you some things should be left in the past.
Even when your lists tell you it might be a good idea to try to make amends.
