A very short, succinct post this week. After so many intensive posts, I thought a little breather might be in order.
One of the best pieces of advice my editor gave me was This Sentence Has Five Words, a powerful tool a writer has in his toolkit simply by varying the lengths of his sentences. Different parts of the narrative will naturally work well with this structure, but the image below explains it best. Happy writing!
