Drop Me

"I've seen corpses with better color,"
You say, like I don't know I'm green, or
That wet paint has made me sick.
Must you lay our differences so thick?

Yes, I'm fragile where you're strong,
But this time I know you're wrong
To make such a big deal of it.
I'll be good in just a bit.

So I fainted. I'm perfectly fine.
I'm not one of those girls who whine
Every four seconds for a hangnail.
We're away from that fresh-painted rail.

Oh, don't you give me that fanged frown.
I just meant, you can put me down.
