"I'm going to help the group go on a run." My father's grip tightened around my wrist when I spoke those words.

"You better not hurt yourself before you give me what I want Luna. I'm serious, I will never forgive you and you will be severely punished"

I yanked my wrist out of his grip. "I'm coming back, but I will never give you anything you want. I don't know who you've become but you aren't my father anymore." I went to go walk away but he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. His hand snaked up my shirt in a way that no one else could see. I looked around and no one seemed to be alarmed about what was happening.

"If you say anything about this you can say good bye to your little pet over there." He nodded toward little Gio who was happily in Carl's arms.

Before I could do anything he cupped my breast with his hand.

My father is actually getting pleasure from this. I thought to myself as I horrifically looked at his face. He was biting his lip and I could see the desire fill his eyes. I was absolutely disgusted. I went to go move away from his grasp but he wouldn't let me. I wanted to scream, but something in my throat wouldn't let me.

Was it fear?

"Let's go!" Daryl yelled while honking the horn. He was already in the truck ready to go.

My father released me. "Don't die." He smiled and hugged me. I knew he didn't really care, it was just all a show for when Rick walked by us.

"Luna get your ass in here or I'm leaving without you!" Daryl yelled again.

I ran to the truck not breaking eye contact with my father. Once I was in the truck, Rick began to drive away from the camp. I felt way safer away from him, but an anxiety pit still lingered. It was fear for Gio.

I looked around the truck to see that Rick, Daryl, Glenn and T-Dog were on this mission.

I couldn't stop thinking about my father and little Gio. If he killed Gio, I would've had no one. Gio was my best friend and I couldn't lose him. If there was something I could do to keep him safe,  I'd do it. For Gio.

"Earth to Luna." Rick said from the driver's seat.

"Huh?"

"I asked if you were okay like five times." Rick said looking at me through the rear view mirror.

"Yeah, I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?"

"You tell me."

Everyone in the truck stared at me and I laughed it off. "Nothing is wrong guys, I'm fine."

They stared at me for a moment more and then they finally just dropped it.

I looked around to see that Daryl was still staring at me. He knew something was up, but I wasn't about to tell him what. It was none of his business.

We were there for a few moments, just staring at each other. He finally gave up and looked away toward the road. After that incident the driving seemed to go on for forever.

"He better be okay, that's my only word on the matter." Daryl said looking at T-Dog. He was the one to break the uncomfortable silence.

"I told you the geeks can't get at him. The only thing that's gonna get through that door is us."

Daryl shook his head slightly in frustration as Rick stopped the truck.

"We walk from here." Rick said and we all piled out of the truck.

We began to run towards the town where we left Merle. There weren't any walkers in sight so it was a nice easy run.

I pulled out both of my swords just as we slipped through a hole in a metal fence.

"Merle first or the guns?" Rick asked running backwards as he waited for our answer.

"Merle! We ain't even having this conversation." Daryl shouted at Rick as he passed by him

"We are." Rick said emphatically. "You know the geography it's your call Glenn."

"Merle is closest. The guns mean doubling back. Merle first." Glenn said clearly out of breath.

We continued running toward town until we got back to the same department store where I met everyone.

Most of the walkers that were there were no longer. Only a few of them remained. Rick made signals at me like I was supposed to know what it meant.

I shrugged my shoulders and he sighed out in frustration as I passed by him. Just as I was about to stab a walker in the head,  an arrow from Daryl's crossbow flew past my hand and right into the walker's head.

I picked up his arrow and examined it. I put it in my quiver and scowled at him.

"Give that back. Its my arrow." He said holding out his hand.

"It was my kill."

"Well little girl, you got to be quicker than that." He said taking his arrow from my quiver.

"Two can play at this game." I replied as a  smirk formed on his face.

We continued going through the department store having no freaks stand in our way.

As soon as Daryl and I entered a room, walkers began stumbling at us. There had to be about five. I sliced the heads off of two freaks while Daryl shot the other two as quick as he could. Just as he was about to shoot the other one, I quickly got my knife out and threw it. It landed right between the eyes of the walker. He looked at me in shock and so did T-Dog, Glenn and Rick.

"Well little girl, you got to be quicker than that." I smirked. He crossed his arms and I could see a little smirk form on his face.

"Damn girl. I'm glad you is with us." T-Dog said as I bent down to pick up my knife. I placed it back in my boot and smiled at him. We continued to head through the department store.

We soon made it up the stairs and T-Dog began to break the chain. When he did, Daryl kicked the door open. He was the first to run in with me right behind him.

"Merle! Merle!" Daryl screamed. There was nothing in sight but a hacksaw, dangling handcuffs, and a hand.

"No!" Daryl screamed walking back n forth.

"No! No!" He scrunched his face and I could tell that he was trying to hold the tears in. I walked up to him and put my hand on his shoulder. I embraced him in a hug not knowing what else to do.

He didn't move from my hug. Instead, he just stood there and buried his face in my shoulder. I looked back at T-Dog, Glenn, and Rick who were just standing there in disbelief.

Where the hell did, this fucker go?
