I watched her arm turn from a pale white to a throbbing red. The harsh impact would have taken my breath away but Eveline just stood there looking towards the fading horizon, a look of celestial calm on her face.
"Aren't you hurt?"
She shook her head, dark hair whipped around her face in the maleficent wind. Splotches of purple were welcomed by the vermilion yet she paid no notice.
"But...how, why --?"
With a shrug, she cut me off and simply replied. "I have forgotten how."
