all I want to do is to blast music
and dance,
I want to sing,
at the top of my lungs,
the lyrics if an upbeat song.
so that just in that moment everything is okay,
so that I'm not sad,
lonely,
not full of anxiety.
i want a place where there is no homework,
no assessments to worry about,
no worrying about whether I'm good enough.
i want that place.
i get it in small doses when I'm dancing with my headphones on but it's not enough.
