Do you ever catch yourself looking at someone?
Like the person you have a crush on or the person you love.
Do you ever catch yourself trying to count the constellations of freckles that dust their cheeks?
Or the way their eyes light up when they're talking about something they're passionate about?
Or the way their lips move to form certain words.
How their eyelashes caress their cheeks.
The waves in their blue eyes.
The forests in their brown eyes.
The gardens in their green eyes.
The clouds in their grey eyes.
The terrain of the earth in their hazel eyes .
Do you ever look at the cracks in their lips and imagine water running through them like small rivers.
Do you try to memorise the way their eyes crinkle when they smile.
The sound of their laugh, a cacophony that becomes the only sound in the moment.
The way their hands move.
The feeling when they look into your eyes.
Maybe they're doing the same thing.
