I continued to stare at my laptop, Sasha walked out the room going god knows where. I was looking at nonsense, then my head turned to my art. I looked at it again, it was a question mark ballon with a needle near it. I closed my laptop screen and put the art in my portfolio. I jumped when my phone rang. It was Jess, I quickly answered. "Hi how are you doing?" I asked her with a cheery tone tone of voice. "I'm happy to hear your voice!" She answered happier than I've heard her in years. "I'm happy to hear yours too!" I replied, her happiness was making me happier than I was before.

"You're picking me up this weekend right?" She asked me, I could feel her smile from the other end of the phone. It was contagious. "Of course!" I replied without hesitation. "Great!" I heard Jess say, she quickly started to talk again. "I gotta go, class is starting soon." "Okay I'll see you soon I love you!" I said gleefully. "See ya love you too!" She said before hanging up. I threw my phone into my pocket and went to the cafeteria to stuff my gut. It was an unconscious decision to do this, one that made no sense, but made complete sense all at the same time.

I got there, I looked at a round table with a group of friends sitting at it. They were talking and laughing. I threw my books down and went to the hot bar. I returned to the table I was sitting at with a tray full of pizza, fries, and salad. Why? I did not know the answer to that myself. I let my hand run across my art book. My index finger curled under the cover of the book, as if it wanted to show me something. I opened the book, to find another note, saying very harsh words. I sighed, knowing that if I said something, nothing would change.
